Interesting question. I've used a few things from my life in my books but I'm not sure I have any real life mysteries I could use - aside from family drama! Possibly the biggest mystery is why one family member changed their name before moving to another country and starting their family. Rumour says it was the way things were translated back then. But could there be more to the story?
