Hi! Thanks for asking. My great-great grand mother left me her diary. She traveled from Norway to South Africa when she was 18 (alone with the sailors.) Pretty tough for those days! She wrote every day on the sea. The bit about Senegal is because I lived there for 5 years and it added to the story.
