Hazel asked Laura Kaye:

I saw that you plan to do a Raven's Riders MC series... will the series be about "outlaws"? I LOVE your Hard Ink series and have read all the books. Those guys are on the "right" side of the law and are ultimately the good guys. That's important to me and I'd love to see you continue that.

Laura Kaye Hi Hazel - This is a great question and not something I've talked about too much yet. In the Hard Ink series, the guys do a lot of illegal things, though they do them for what they believe are honorable reasons. While MC culture means the Raven Riders will be a little darker and grittier, my bikers are a bit different. My club is going to be based loosely on an organization called BACA - Bikers Against Child Abuse. These bikers work with the court system and social services to protect victims of child abuse from intimidation by their abusers and to generally make the kids and their families feel safe as a case works through the system. In real life, these bikers have to be non-outlaws, because working with the legal system requires background checks, etc. My guys aren't going to be quite that clean, but their mission, for reasons that will come out in the series, will be similar - they take on protecting those who can't protect themselves in their community in almost a vigilante fashion, which will cause some confrontations with the law. So that'll be my unique spin on an MC romance!
