Hi! I have read the Lockwood books and somehow, the Whispering Skull reminds me of the witty Bartimaeus.. Is this on purpose? Or it's just my feeling? And will I meet the Skull again in the future? (i hope so!) can't wait for the next Lockwood adventures, thanks for keep writing great stories :)

Jonathan Stroud Don't worry, the Skull certainly features in The Hollow Boy. And you're right, he shares a certain sarcastic delight in undercutting other people's pretensions with the noble djinni. I guess I just like dodgy characters like these!
