ŷ asked Robin Gregory:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Robin Gregory Writer's block doesn't happen to me very often. I have more trouble turning the muse off! In fact, I sort of live in the story I'm writing (or it may be the other way around). This can be a problem when I start calling my loved ones the names of my characters, or forget where I'm driving, or miss appointments. That's why there are tablets all around my house, in the car, in my purse. Ideas come from everywhere. It's like the world, the clouds, dogs, strangers in weird hats want to tell me stories, if only I would listen. If my inspiration ever wanes, there is always poetry. Reading poems is a good way to get into the zone. And meditation. And muffins.
