I've just purchased this book as it was on offer, but now realise it's part of a series. Is it worth me waiting and reading from Number One, or can I delve straight into this one? :)

While you certainly *can* delve straight into this one, I personally would recommend reading the series from the beginning, with 'At Home in Mitford'. If you're interested in that kind of thing, check out the audiobooks read by John McDonough. They're my favourite way to get lost in Mitford!
