He likes her for years and screws everything that walks and thinks she is gay even though everyone knows that is not true. Is Paul stupid, or...stupid? Between the ex wife, the whoring, the pushing away, all of Friday's f'edupedness, and the TATTOO - GTFO! No, just no.

Jagger does not mess around with anyone once he meets Sonya. So it is safe. But there is a sex scene before he meets her. After meeting Sonya but before they are together, while he is sleeping, the club whore sneaks into his room and tries to get him to have sex. But he wakes up and pushes her away.
For those who do not like drugs, there are also drugs in this series. Mostly pot, but I believe there may have been coke when they visited another club. I do not recall any main characters doing hard drugs, except pot. (hide spoiler)]...more

This is a mediocre read. Neither the hero or heroine stood out. Not much of anything stood out. There are some things that really bugged me that I will put in my spoiler below.

OM The beginning of the book has Emma meeting another guy (Jace), getting hot and heavy with him (kissing) and then him leaving her to go help his ex. She returns to OK for her sisters wedding 9 or 10 months later and is happy to show Jace what he was missing. Jace asks her to accompany him to the wedding as his date and she agrees. She meets Logan the same night she agrees to the date. Jace abandons her at the wedding - again for his ex - and she ends up going to hotel with Logan. They have a hot one night stand. Jace is around the entire story but is no issue. She does not want him, he does not really care about her, makes Logan a little jealous.
OW Logan's BFF Tucker's little sister decides that she has "loved" Logan her whole life and is now old enough for him. She is a general pain in the ass that he does not encourage her but is too nice to slap her down the way she needs to be. She is annoying and does bug Emma but not a big deal.
After the one night stand...
A few weeks go by, he eventually calls her - just when she discovers she is pregnant. So she shows up in OK to spend time with him. She wants to see if they have anything before she tells him. The entire book is spent with her waffling (all the while sleeping with him) and NOT telling him - until the very end. It bugged the crap out of me!
But that is the entire story. All the "i'll tell him tomorrows" got really old and clearly I did not enjoy as much as the first time I read it.

Vlad was loyal. He tried one date after a couple of YEARS. It went nowhere though. Zoe pushed him away for like three years! and she only agreed to be with him because his career ended. He deserved SO much better!

If you can just leave your feminist side at the door and enjoy the mind of an irrational male, this is a fun read.
I just re-read via audible. Marco is hot and cold for me. I liked him, but many times I did not. He was just too uptight and distant much of the time. But I loved his possessive craziness.

He also was a serious manwhore. And the heroine is harassed several times by a couple with whom he participated in sex parties with (although he had not slept with the woman).
I really enjoyed this sweet romance with some suspense thrown in! I LOVED Howard...right up until he pissed me of A LOT!!! Visited a sex club often in his past. (even since knowing the heroine). And for a tough, confident woman, she turned into an embarrassing wimp around him. For example, when confronting him in a sex club (trying to get his assistance) while he is with a woman (at least he is still dressed - but the woman is barely) she gets all hot an bothered and cannot use grown up words nor act like a confident woman. It was ridiculous!

But I was upset with the heroine and was so worried about what would happen.
I included the sequel as a challenge read in my Low Angst Love challenge. So I had to reread this one first. I did. I still liked it even though my tastes have changed a lot. I still feel it is an emotional read and worthy of a solid score. Would not be 5 stars for me today, but I feel I should leave my old score.

Plus she was too stupid to know she had zero chance with the OM. This shit lasted the entire book. I think they finally admitted their feeling for each other at 98%. Totally not for me.

I mean, how much hotter can you get? And Lauren. Holy cow, I want to be her. She was awesome. Strong, sweet, smart, sassy. The story was interesting, with action and drama. But I knew as I was reading it, that I was reading a love story. And that made me happy. There were teary moments, but they were not because the love was in question. Once they got together, they were together. Sometimes the unneeded heartache gets old and I want to read about two people whose love is never in question. This story did that for me. I can't imagine anyone not loving this book....more

While I did not love Trevor, actually thought he was a douche, he was funny and sweet at times. I just never got past the first chapter where I felt he betrayed her. Yea - I know technically he didn't. But she was supposed to be "the one" right? And Liz was a wimp, although she got better towards the end. Overall it is a good quick, easy read.

I don't know why they liked each other, except for the sex. I totally don't get the thing with her and Muff. I kind of understand her curiosity, but I don't like my dominant men willing to share. That just does not work for me. So it went downhill from there with Jackson. I started to think of him as a creepy old man! (And I am older)...more

The fact that they are both so naive and innocent of societal norms is appealing and refreshing, at times hilarious. Nick is so strong, possessive and protective and yet terribly insecure. It is a wonderful combination! you never doubt their love for each other. Even when his past catches up to her.
The audio version was enjoyable. It had both male and female narrators, which in really liked.

This is because neither knows how to communicate or behave normally. He does not go through with it and the woman does not touch him any more than his thighs before he tells her to leave. Although I would usually frown upon this, for some reason this does not really bother me. Nick truly believes she is lost to him and he needs relief from his guilt and lust. He is not normal. Does not have the slightest clue what is normal so this is not the same as someone else doing the same thing. The fact that nothing happens certainly also helps. It is forgotten as soon as it is over and Daisy never knows. Nor did I feel she needed to.
Loved it! Rated just below 5 stars because it was a little slow at times. But it was a great read! I loved both Nick and Daisy and want all the best for them. I cannot wait to read Daniel and Regan's story!...more
