Plz in the beginning it was so hard to get through this book?!! But when you’re done from the first part you get the second part which WAS EVEN HARDER TO GET THROUGH. Sometimes the things that our characters do annoy me so much and their actions aren’t justified. But overall I really enjoyed and loved the book hehhe the ending was nice. Definitely will read the sequel ...more

I will be honest and say that I HATED THIS BOOK *at the beginning* because it was my first time reading this type of book?
It was so absurd that I kept thinking to myself why this book is written like this? I honestly didn’t know IT WAS MEANT TO BE LIKE THIS
Now I love it so much THAT I WANT TO REREAD IT AGAIN. It’s one of the books you read if you want a weird and silly journey, yet a really good one!

I was genuinely excited to read this book because it has a magical library which seems like something that I will enjoy.
The midnight Library ponders the infinite possibilities of life. It is about Nora's seed. Nora is in her mid 30. She lives an ordinary life but feels unwanted and unaccomplished. One day Nora comes across a Library called the Midnight Library, which exists between life and death. The library is filled with books in which lie endless parallel lives she might've lived. In this library, Nora is given the chance to undo her regrets by trying out these lives.
Honestly, this book has the most captivating content. At first, I got engaged and hocked with it. But after that, it's gone downhill for me. What helped me to finish this book was the writing style because it was easy. Another thing that stressed me is Nora. The way she was written as a character frustrated me (at some point) I couldn't feel sympathy for her. Tbh I was more than ready to give this book four stars but, the ending ruined everything.
Overall, this book was ok. I didn't regret reading it and would still recommend it to others. I feel like it will be a good break if you usually read big books.
