Jessica Gadziala is one of my favorite authors but this book was complete shit. Nothing was satisfying and even though i skimmed the end i felt like i wasted so much time trying to finish this. This is a very mediocre office romance so my advice would be to skip it; you can find something way better and more original. ...more

Heroine was an absolute moron and the conflict of the story had no basis in reality. You can’t just pull your own facts out of mid air when you’re writing a story on real life. And the writing... mother of god, it got on the wrong foot right from the beginning.
It was as if the author found some fancy new words and was testing them out for the first time. And when spoken by the heroine, it made her sound self important and asinine. Like do you even here yourself?!?!
““You believe in the beauty of the spiral, the fulfillment of dreams, that this is the place where all creeds and religions and walks of life are accepted...Up here you aren’t distracted by the cheerleaders or the crowd. It’s all game and the chase for excellence. You can see the church for what it is—a temple built to revere physical perfection. The spiral looks gorgeous as it cuts through the air and the hits look as hard up here as if you stood on the sideline. Up here, you can see it all.
Hero was gross. Constantly reminding the heroine that he could have sex with anyone he wants if he ever chooses to. And the rest of his team members (and the hero’s of the following books) were disgusting pigs. Absolute garbage.
Remind me to never read a book from 2015 and before ever again....more

Goddam this heroine was annoying. So perfect and holy and pure in every way. She has zero personality and I couldn't finish this reread because I wanted to punch her in the face everytime she talked. The secondary characters were also a lot more irritating than I remembered. ...more

The characters and plot are terribly written, in my opinion. It makes me wonder if the author has ever had a real life interaction with another human being before. Judging by the way this book was going- I would say no. Her characters would overreact to something another character did and the reader (i.e. Me) would be left confused as to why they were acting this way. Like random bursts of laughter when nothing was said or done to be considered funny. The heroine had this in spades. Her character was written as if she had an extreme case of bipolar personality disorder; mad one minute and then flirty the next sentence and then back to being mad by the end of the page.
I'm disappointed because the blurb really intrigued me! I thought I was going to get this unique plot where the hero and heroine have dreams about each other and that there would be this romantic plot that explained why they were having significant dreams about each other. Nope. No such plot exists. After the forth chapter the dreams aren't even brought up.
