Yes, I've seen the film many times actually. I also got my husband to watch it with me once but he didn't share the same enthusiasm. :)
Oh, mine liked it quite a bit, even though it's not something he'd ever have sought out on his own! But he's pretty good about humoring me. It is one of my favorite book to film adaptations, actually. And this is my favorite Dahl book.
Yeah my favourite Dahl book is a tie between this one and BFG. Matilda is a pretty close second though.
I absolutely love this book, although when I was little I always used to get really freaked out about it haha :)
Oh yes, it's pretty freaky if you really think about it. :) So much fun, though.
Well I think I was about 8 when I first read it haha :) Still a wonderful book!
This is one of my absolute favorites of all time. I even used the movie to scare my little brother :D
Hiba--SQUARE, TOELESS FEET. *shudder*THT--I knoooow, so so good! Both book and film. I was just reading about Dahl's personal life, though, which depresses me. At least he's dead, so I feel a bit better about still enjoying his books.
I still remember my fifth grade teacher reading this to our class!!

Ria "lovley book." its about turning a child into a rat and i got the book in hard cover and did it i ripped it up and burnt it then buried it.
