The Phantom's Apprentice
by
The Phantom's Apprentice is a beautifully dramatic, engrossing, suspenseful and in some ways romantic story, with more plot twist then I expected.
Nobody was what they seemed. Everybody had secrets and everyone was a little creepy.
There are so many characters in this book that I don't know either I hate them or love them. The main character Christine, being one of them.
I really like the relationship Christine and her father had, even if it was very brief in the book. I adore the friendships and the romance.
The writing was done very beautifully, I felt like I was reading a classic, ( in some ways, I was ).
Overall this was a very surprising and intriguing read, and worth a re-read.
* I'd like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC of this book.
