Haunted Knight is not related to holloween arc, it's separate book that contains three different holloween special stories. You should have read it before The long holloween. Haunted knight is great book too and it does psycho analysis of Bruce/Batman. I would suggest you to read after Holloween arc.

For now read the Dark Victory next which is brilliant sequel of TLH and continues the story then read the Catwoman when in Rome which is spinoff series of Dark Victory.

Well, looks like I'm gonna have to read all of those books now, I've been skipping these books for a long time now, because I thought they were gonna be boring to read, but now I'm ashamed that I haven't picked them up way way earlier.

if this is something you'd enjoy on re-reads, i'd recommend reading each chapter depending on the current holiday ie) read the Xmas one, around Xmas time, Valentines day in mid feb, etc. Its a pretty cool experience

Well, that does sound fun, but the story would be very hard to follow, I wonder if they did that with the original releases, that would've been cool.
