I have loved what few books of Stegner that I've read, but I haven't read this short story! Will have to hunt this one down! Love your review, Peggy!

Peggy, I think I have enough tissues to deal with the tears, and my little dogs, Halle and Story, my two dogs, will always come cuddle beside me when they sense that I am sad.
