I have MANY thoughts about this one.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I was never entirely swept away by the Alessandro & Catalina pairing. I had some hope after the 2nd book, but here we reverted back to me feeling like Alessandro was an afterthought. With the OG Nevada & Connor trilogy, I thought the two were on equal footing, but not here. In this installment, it got to the point where I sometimes forgot Alessandro was even around. This brings me to my main disappointment: the romance is lackluster for me.

Ruby Fever is also sooo much plot and action (I would argue that there were too many threads), and I understand why because the authors are trying to tie the loose ends, but I found myself completely zoning out at times. I think this is where better balance between the romance and the plot would have helped.

What I did love was the secondary cast. Victoria, Linus, Arabella (MY QUEEN, MY BABY), Cornelius, and Matilda were scene-stealers. I love the dynamic between all these characters and when they are together, there's no way not to crack up.

Anyways, that being said, I desperately hope we see an Arabella-centered series. My girl deserves it!

BEST GIRL!!

Nasi Agreed about Arabella, can't wait for her books. I hope she end up with Mihail.

Wildwhuck Completely agreed but I never was a fan of C&A to begin with. I was here for the world

isasha I agree. Also I would love for someone for once to address the whole House Emmerson and House Baylor situation already! Runa and her siblings are living in the Baylor compound so obviously they are now basically Baylors (their house is like a vassal House) but Runa was very adamant in the first book that she wanted a partnership with the Baylors not this. Yet, Catalina clearly makes the final decisions so where does that leave them ? Also wth does Runa do for a living? Also her younger sister? They were studying before but what about now? Will they work as investigators for the Baylor agency too?

Wheresmybook Yes please, more Arabella please. My money is on Michael.
