Callum always believed rules are meant to be honored. Rules are meant to be followed. Rules aren't meant to be broken. Until Livana. A recently ended engagement and an age gap that should give him pause. A connection to each other's families by marriage that is sure to lead toward a scandal. He knows she'll be the costliest mistake he's ever made. She's capable of ruining everything he’s built, including his reputation, self-control, and sanity. He told himself to ignore this madness and to back off. Instead, he found himself obsessing about her, stalking her, seducing her, and putting himself in the most vulnerable position of all.
While this book didn't have a complicated plot, it was still entertaining with lovely light-hearted moments. Livana and Callum had some serious chemistry, and the tension between them easily bled through the pages. I knew once the tension broke, it would get hot fast, and I loved it. Theirs was a case of fate stepping in and demanding it's way. If you love a romance full of instant attraction and emotion filled with caution, read this book. This is my honest opinion, freely given.
