What is it with authors and this new trend to write alternate POV's without a simple warning??????

I agree. What is with all so many authors penning alternate POVs of the same story? I understand there's extra tidbits of info we didn't know before but usually 50-75% is the same GD thing as the original story.
Nup, I don't mind.....
