guys i'm sorry but this is SO overhypedðŸ¥±ðŸ˜«ðŸ˜–ðŸ¥±ðŸ˜«ðŸ˜–

yes, the romance was cute.
it was okay.

I feel so bad saying this stuff because i REALLY wanted to like this

guys it took me almost a whole month to read this ðŸ˜–

- it moved so slowly. i found myself avoiding reading it, because i just didn't care about what was happening. so no. I did not really enjoy it.
- it was boring. i was bored.
- i liked the first half of the book better!! but i feel like it just went downhill as the book progressed.

- roman: idk how i feel about this man. like the things he said were cute and really meaningful but also he just seems like someone who doesn't know how to have fun, he just seems so serious. but idk this is just my opinion. i feel like he rushed into things so fast
- iris: lowkey she makes me angry but idk why. just the way she acted about everything made her seem desperate
- forest: erm. ok then. i loved him at the beginning but the war really changed himðŸ˜¥
- IM FORGETTING OTHER CHARACTERS I KNOW BUT I DONT HAVE THE BOOK WITH ME RIGHT NOW

- the characters weren't interesting to me. i couldn't relate to them and they seemed kind of dumb & unrealistic
- the book was really boring and moved too slow for me
- i think maybe i'm just not a romance girly?? i typically dont read romance but i decided to give this a shot and didn't love it

- what time period is this supposed to be in?? like thats a genuine question i don't think it said
- i probably won't be reading the second book since i disliked this so much
- i'm sorry but i didn't like the ending.

- carver's letters were so sweet omg
- the 'hot' scenes were kinda.......... ðŸ˜‰ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ¥µ ~~stop looking at me like that you know im right~~
- the writing style was really pretty (but too slow for me)

- this book was just NOT FOR ME. maybe i'm just not a romance girly i'm not sure but i just DIDNT LIKE IT
- it moved too slow for me, so i just lost interest
