this book is putting me in a slump it's not it guys i'm sorry. it's just, eh. @enne I would expect u to like it since u like we were liars it has the same kind of poetic writing
@jessie, i see what you're saying, i think besides the writing style though, i was really obsessed with the storyline in we were liars and it was super tragic and i love tragic stuff, and the plot twists and the ending was CRAZY, im just not feeling the same sense of mystery with this book, it sort of feels predictable. it's not even a problem with the book either, i think im just not a romance girly. and if i am a romance girly it needs to have a sad/tragic/awful ending where at least one of them dies or it ends in heartbreak 🥰
@enne omg sad tragic awful endings is so real 😭 literally the best but for me its either has to be the most disgusting gut wrenching thing ever or a cutesy romance so...

@mina I personally loved that it had more to do with the war. And I actually liked the romance better in book 2 as well. But it is an unpopular opinion.
