Kme_17, Susan and ShoSho, can I have your final updates please? I'll do the final post tonight when I get home from work.

According to Smashwords, Susan, that has 34,070 words = 137 pages. It is not approved for the TTRC, nor the October R-a-T. Sorry.

Thanks, Claire. My Sweetheart is doing much better. We were able to go to church today.

Thanks Susan and ShoSho, the update is done now :-)
I've now finished my second bout of four shifts and I'm still enjoying it. Had a bit of a different day yesterday, first job resulted in helping to deliver a baby girl!! Not what I expected when I signed on in the afternoon! :-D

Unfortunately we also had an elderly overdose patient we don't think was going to survive the night. I didn't sleep well after that one, mainly because of a really little thing that played on my mind for hours afterwards - I had to remove the teddy she was cuddling to treat her. I just felt so sad I had to do it.

I love Lewis :) Definitely a fan of the 'cosy' murder mysteries!!

How is everyone? I'm just filling in a job application, trying to decide what to put for current job (how to phrase it) and who to use as references...

I think I looked tired this week, because hubby suggested I take today off! I'm not sure exactly why he said that but who am I to ignore such a good suggestion? So I took today off, spend almost the whole day in bed reading!

I've had the flu this week :( started feeling bad on Saturday and finally feel human today. I sent in sub lesson plans for Monday and felt too bad to organize anything for yesterday or today. I honestly caught my sled thinking I didn't care if they watched movies all day, I just couldn't put anything together lol I've felt so bad I didn't even want to read *gasp*

That's what my girls said lol I feel tons better today. I'm out of bed and wanting to read. Actually, I'm in a crafty mood since I started feeling better. I plan on doing some crafts this weekend and not reading too much. Maybe I'll listen to a book while I craft lol
Team Member Reassignments - For more information and Team Assignements go here.
â— We have decided to close the sign-up thread to the Tower Teams Reading Challenge, except for replacement players who exactly fit our needs.
â— We are going to fill the gaps from absent Team Members on the Teams from within our current Team Members.
â— In order to do this, we will reassign the Team Members of Banana Mania and the Mods of Cadet Blue to various Teams. We have been working on this for quite awhile and have tried to be as equable as possible.
â— In an effort to keep Banana Mania as together as possible, we are moving some of the Mods.

You never know when I will pop up, or what I will ask for. These little mini tasks will be worth one or two (1 - 2) BAPs.
For the first task, I will grant your Team one (1) BAP for any Team where two members read books by the same author. They may be the same book, or not. They may be under different pseudonyms, too; it matters not to me!
You have until the 23rd of November to earn these points.
Until the next surprise.

Post finished task here.

And I bought myself a reading journal (I just couldn't resist!) to keep track of the best books that I read! :)

Same spell it out rules as before. (Character names included.) One member, or four, it matters not to me.
Any books 160 pages or greater, finished by November 1st, or after.
You may NOT use books used in other November tasks.
You will be granted two (2) BAPs.
You have until the 23rd of November to earn these points.
Until the next surprise.

Task #3 - Random Genre
I will randomly assigned the following twelve (12) genres to a corresponding number.
Contemporary RomanceGo to:
Fantasy
Historical Fiction
Historical Romance
History
Horror
Mystery/Cozy
Mystery/Thriller
Non-Fiction
Urban Fantasy
Women's Fiction
Young Adult
and roll one or two dice.
Come back to this thread and tell me the number you rolled and I'll tell you the genre a member (any member) of your Team needs to read this month.
I will reassign the genre before each Team request.
Yes, if a member has already read that genre, you may count it.
You may NOT use books used in other November tasks.
Any books 160 pages or greater, finished between November 1 - 23, 2013.
Classification will be by the top five most popular 'tags' - according to GRs members.
You will be granted one (1) BAP.
You have until the 23rd of November to earn this point. (Or the end of the TTRC, which looks like November 17th, according to the poll in the "sister" group.)
Until the next surprise.

Task #4 - Random Bookcover (Color or Item)
This task like the Random Genre in that I will randomly assigned numbers to all seventeen (17) Teams, as I did with the 12 genres. However, each Team has a corresponding predominant color or item to find on the cover, for what your Team needs to search.
This is an either/or challenge. You only have to read one book that qualifies for either the ITEM - or the COLOR of the Team you are assigned.Go to:
For predominant color book, it needs to be the edition the Team Member actually read.
However, if it is an item on the cover, then you may post the actual bookcover and the alternate one (different edition) in which you found the item .
If you get your own Team number, I will roll/reassign again.
If you can't see the picture chart, refer to list under this spoiler: (view spoiler)
and roll two or three dice.
Come back to this thread and tell me the number you rolled and I'll tell you the Team Item/Color a member (any member) of your Team needs to read this month.
I will reassign the Team/Color/Item before each Team request.
Yes, if a member has already read a bookcover that works, you may count it.
You may NOT use books used in other November tasks.
Any books 160 pages or greater, finished between November 1 - 23, 2013.
You will be granted two (2) BAPs.

Task #5 - Novella/Short Story
There are less than seventy-four hours until the last Sunday Update!
For Task #5, I will give you a different kind of mission. One that could create quite a quandary, but will bring a large reward: Five (5) BAPs! Reading novellas or short stories, spell out:Decisions, decisions.N. The twist is you may NOT apply a book larger than 160 pages, and thus they may NOT be “tagged towards your TTRC.
B.
R.
C.
N.
I.
N.
J.
A.
EXCEPTION: They may be in an anthology; this is the only way you may “tag the completed book, if you do finish the whole book. However, you are NOT required to read the whole book if you use an anthology. Nevertheless, you must use the titles, etc., of the stories within the anthology to do the spelling.
Short stories must be greater than 10 pages. (view spoiler)
The same rules as prior Spell-It-Outs apply. (view spoiler)
They may all be done by one Team Member, or all nine read by different Team Members, it matters not to me.
Yes, if a short story or novella has been read/finished on November 1st or after, you may apply it.
 You have until Sunday, November 17th, 9:00 a.m. - or to finish/post Task #5.
WHATEVER will you do?!!
Until the next surprise.

Well, you could look at it as your Team was the best at forecasting their numbers. You ladies were the most consistent Team, too. Except for when one of your members lost Internet; and Cathie's recent disappearance. I hope she's alright.

You mean all the other teams under-predicted their goals?
Yes I hope she's alright ,haven't seen her around in a long time!

Yes. If you and your Team were 'on-track,' as of today, you'd be at 60.00%. You were at 61.32%. Everyone else was 10% or more above that.
