Well I finished another book from my list, and it was good. A good edition to the Fallen Angel series, gave it 4 stars.

Thanx Shell

I finished Eon last night. It would have been sooner, but it was a little big to carry back and forth to work on the bus.

The beginning really drew me in and I was eager to continue, but somewhere in the middle I found myself wishing the pace would pick up a little. It finally did and I couldn't put the book down until I finished. I really want to know what happens next and I'm definitely going to be on the lookout for the second book.

Christina (christinaovallsbooks) | 341 comments I just joined the SRC as well since I heard everyone talking about it. I will admit that it is very intimidating. Just reading through the rules and the tasks is like reading a small book. I need to figure out where to start...

Sassafrass (sass-a-frass) | 4162 comments Ok, MountainKat

Here's what I've read so far:

Reflected in You (Crossfire, #2) by Sylvia Day --I wasn't too fond of Eva and her neediness in this one but they really pulled it out for me in the end.
On Dublin Street (On Dublin Street, #1) by Samantha Young --ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN' AMAZING!!!! AMAZING!!!!

Gone Country (Rough Riders, #14) by Lorelei James --Sorry, I couldn't wait. This one was quite the surprise...who knew Gavin had it in him!

I also finished my BR - Game for Anything (Bad Boys of Football, #1) by Bella Andre which was great. I'll definitely continue with that series.

I need some "comfort food" so to speak so now I've on to Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, #1) by Lisa Kleypas

Here's what's still left to read:

Holiday Kink by Eve Langlais
Shaken by Dee Tenorio
Jacked Up (Fast Track, #6) by Erin McCarthy
About That Night (FBI / US Attorney, #3) by Julie James

Buddy Reads: Seduction and Snacks (Chocolate Lovers, #1) by Tara Sivec

Seduction and Snacks (Chocolate Lovers, #1) by Tara Sivec --I didn't know what to think when I got to the first chapter, but I ended up really enjoying this. It reminded me of the Hangover!

I think I'll start on Shaken by Dee Tenorio next.

If you want to do a buddy read of Holiday Kink, I'm game - picked up the book earlier this month. I don't think I am free though until the end of this week, maybe Thursday, or the right after Christmas. We have a house full from Sunday until Wednesday morning!

Suzanne (esmerelda1) | 2244 comments I read The Substitute Millionaire by Susan Mallery and it was a short cute little book! The dialogue was funny and I enjoyed the main characters even though the scenario was a stretch to the imagination. But it was good, I gave it 4 stars!

MountainKat | 30301 comments Hi Dee, I finished two more picks - My Kind of Christmas, super sweet comfort food, and Gone Country, another great book in the Rough Rider series! Gone Country was sort of a buddy read with Sassafrass and Dee, but it looks like we are all reading at different times... You were right Sassafrass - so good!!

I hope to fit in another buddy read with Sassafrass and another pick from Dee too!

~KarenH~ | 10974 comments I finished two more picks - My Kind of Christmas and Seduction and Snacks, which was a buddy read with Sassafrass and maybe a few others. I enjoyed it and will definitely read the rest of the series, but the humor did get a little old for me by the end of the book. I guess it's a good thing that it looks like the second book is about 20% shorter - should be just about perfect! :D

Thanks for the picks and the buddy read, Sassafrass - I'm hoping to get through another pick or two before the end of the month!

D.G. | 4477 comments I just finished my third pick: Dream Lake (Friday Harbor, #3) by Lisa Kleypas and enjoyed it a lot! Thanks Karen for the great picks! I haven't read as many books for a PIFM in a long time. ;)

message 549: by Christina (new)

Christina (christinaovallsbooks) | 341 comments Ok, I just finished Pleasure Unbound (Demonica, #1) by Larissa Ione today. I liked it and added the next one to my list of books to read. I gave it 4 stars since I couldn't put it down and finished it quicker than I finish most books. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because I thought it was a little cheesy. It was definitely HOT though.

I also tried reading Daryk Hunter (Daryk World, #1) by Denise A. Agnew this month. I really didn't like it and couldn't finish it. I got it as a free book from Amazon, so I'm not too disappointed.

I have Dead Witch Walking (The Hollows, #1) by Kim Harrison from the library and I'm looking forward to starting that one next.
