The way I'm going to try and do it is to first claim the items that have been harder for me to find as I've been searching through my books.

Every one is different. My focus is that at the end when I get down to only 8-4 items left that I can possibly get those in the same book. You don't want to get to to the end and only find 1-2 items in a book. It really depends on the type of books you read to which items will be easier for you.

Steph Ann Week One: Tie
UnWholly (Unwind, #2) by Neal Shusterman by Neal Shusterman
Finished: 12/3/12
Rating: 5 stars
Review:

This follow-up to Unwind was definitely not a disappointment! The premise to Shusterman's world here is still incredibly disturbing, made more so this time around by the placement of pro-unwinding advertisements throughout the book. The new character Cam adds another level of uneasiness to the story as well, given his origins. The way Shusterman is able to bring all the various storylines together by the end amazes me. I'm eagerly looking forward to book 3.

Items:
Tie Kindle Loc. 2152 He dresses in a tailored shirt and tie.
Bone Kindle Loc 1012 like a living quilt stretched across the bone, muscle and cartilage beneath.
Musical instrument Kindle Loc 1023 They played guitar with rare and glorious talent.
Mist/Fog Kindle Loc 1603 It pours out like a ground fog.

Twelve Months by Steven Manchester by Steven Manchester
Finished:12/5/12

Review:I have no words to describe the emotional rollcoaster this book has inspired in me. Fans of Nicholas Sparks will enjoy this book very much.

Items Claimed:
Clothing~Tie:
The slender Western rope tie matched perfectly with a pair of black snakeskin boots. Page 60

Body Parts~Bone:"It could reach your bones and lungs." Page 234

Misc~Emergency Vehicle:The foreman called the ambulance, offered the paramedic a piece of Tommy's fingertip and then turned around and barked at everyone to "get back to work." Page 66

Weather~Rainbow:A young woman with no arms or legs was lying face down on a hospital gurney, playing an electronic keyboard with her tongue-the notes to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" ringing out over and over again. Page 216

Aha! The rope tie makes sense now. I've always heard them called bolo ties. Just rope tie makes it sound like wearing a noose as a fashion statement. The whole sentence helps paint a clearer picture.

Book: Unsticky by Sarra Manning by by Sarra Manning
Finished:Dec 6th
Rating: 3 stars
Review:I found this to be amusing, and kind of frustrating at the same time. Which makes rating this book hard, I enjoyed the story but the characters are not that likeable. They both have issues but because of those issues they are right for each other.

Items Claimed:

Clothing-Tie: The suit consisted of a pair of paint-splattered jeans, an old Ramones T-shirt with a tie half-knotted round his neck and a blazer, complete with school logo stitched on the pocket. Page 236

Weather-Snow: As they cleared the airport, all Grace could see out of the window was pitch-black night and white snow heaped as far as the horizon. Page 248

Body Parts-eyes: She’d seen the light gradually dim in Liam’s eyes like a torch with dying batteries. Page 9

Misc-Paper: But Grace had never even smiled at Lily, let alone spoken to her, until her first day at Skirt when she’d been skulking in the kitchen too scared to drink a cup of tea at the ramshackle intern desk in case she spilled it on some vitally important piece of paper, when Lily had strolled in. Slow Hands by Leslie Kelly by Leslie Kelly
Finished:12/8/12
Rating:4 Stars
Review:This is my first experience with this author. She crafts a cleverly woven story with great characters. It kinda reminds me of the Prince and Pauper in alot of ways. Only the Pauper is a paramedic and the Prince is actually rich young woman.

Items Claimed:
Body Part~Bone:
He concentrated instead on kissing her temple, tracing her high cheekbone with his mouth, kissing his way to the lobe of her ear. Kindle App for PC Location 1416

Weather~Wind:I like seeing the wind blow through your hair, he explained simply. Kindle App for PC Location 1971

Clothing~Glasses:Though he couldn’t exactly see, because of her dark sunglasses, he felt sure Maddy was watching him. Kindle App for PC Location 1976

Misc~Sky:Fantasies about laying her down on a thick towel, plucking the strings of her bikini and revealing her magnificent body to the wide-open sky. Kindle App for PC Location 1976

I understand I suffer with migraine anymore all headaches suck.

message 95: by Steph Ann (new)

Steph Ann I hate headaches that last for days. I get a lot of migraines too, and it's just awful when your head hurts so bad you can't do anything!

My book is going ok, although I haven't gotten as far into it as I'd like. The pace is starting to pick up though, so I should easily have it finished by the end of the week.

Steph Ann Week 2 - Bone
City of Ashes (The Mortal Instruments, #2) by Cassandra Clare by Cassandra Clare
Finished: 12/12/12
Rating: 3 stars

Review:

I'm still not quite sure I understand the hype about this series. I enjoy it, but I don't come away feeling like I absolutely have to read the next book ASAP. I had some issues with Clary in this book, but I think that's mainly due to me being 30 and Clary only being a teenager. On the positive side of things, I found Jace a lot more likable in this book compared to Book One. I will be reading the 3rd book, but that will probably be after I take a little break from YA books for awhile.

Items
Bone Kindle Location 293 She saw how angular his cheekbones looked.
Rainbow Kindle Location 36 His wings were the color of an oil slick: black threaded with a rainbow of dizzying colors.
Hood Kindle Location 1108 ...his parchment hood fallen back to reveal a face torqued into a grotesque expression...
Emergency Vehicle Kindle Location 2716 Remember how he made them let him ride with you in the ambulance on the way to the hospital?

Dawn (dawn_e) Week 2 - Bone
Living with the Dead by Kelley Armstrong
Read 12.11.12
Rating: ★★★★
Review: While this was an entertaining read it was a pretty forgettable addition to one of my favorite series. There was quite a few twist and turns, some that were foretelling, and lots and lots of action.

Bone: Pg 359 a protruding knob of bone that wasn't right.
Wind: Pg 258 heard only the wind sighing
Boots: Pg 530 a woman in jeans, boots, and a tshirt
Shelf: Pg 5 scrapbook back on the shelf
