Review:
This was such an interesting story and I like that its about aliens and not the usual paranormal characters . I really liked katy, Daemon, and Dee, great ineractions and fun little quirks. Can't wait to pick up the next one

Review:I love the continuing story of Black Dagger Brotherhood! In this book, it's all about Vishous, one of my favorite Brothers. We see his beginnings and learn some interesting truths about him. John Matthew, Qhuinn, and Blaylock become great friends and look out for one another. I love the first meeting between JM and Xhex so hot! I'm working my way thru BDB books to be ready for newest book Lover At Last.

Review:I don't like to give bad reviews, I REALLY don't. People put their time and energy in the writing of their books, so I don't like to sound mean.

I was happy to be finished this book, for me it just never did it. For someone else they might highly enjoy it. The funny thing is I found the concept interesting, but how it was presented to me well, not to lie, bored me.

I had to add more: I never connected with the characters, I didn't like them. I'm sorry your kids and others have been kidnapped, lets start looking at each with potential feelings. Lets toss some romance into the book, which just felt awkward and out of place, and stop calling her "kiddo"

Week 8 - Emergency Vehicle

Review:

I got this as a free download for my Kindle, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. For the most part, I enjoyed the book, although there were some issues that led me to give a lower rating. The amount of detail Jones goes into had both a positive and negative effect on my enjoyment of the story. At times, it serves to draw you into the story to where you can actually see in your mind what is going on and feel what Emily is feeling. At other times, the vast amount of detail is simply not necessary and just draws out a scene that doesn't need to be prolonged.

I would also say Emily had a few TSTL moments, although some of that could probably be forgiven considering she's potentially the last person alive and probably not thinking too clearly. It annoyed me at the time though.

All that being said, I did find this to be an enjoyable and quick read and think it's a promising start to a series.

Review:This is a good book to read but I hate reading books in the middle or end of the series. Because I feel like I missed out on some important information.

Review: I really enjoy this series. Not sure how Roberts writes so many books. You have Eve who is tough as nails haunted by memories of her childhood, who is facing a serial killer from her past Julianna Dunne. Julianna is out for payback and goes after Roarke. Eve and Roarke are such a great couple and Peabody just cracks me up.

Review:

I've put off reading this for a long time mainly because I think the cover is just awful. However, I'm so glad I finally gave it a chance because it was so good! The characters are vivid. The book is extremely well-written, and the world building is excellent. I'm already emotionally connected to the characters, and that hardly ever happens with the first book, at least not this strongly! I will be reading book 2 as soon as I possibly can!!

Review: After reading two back to back major tug at your emotions books, I needed something lighter. Something to entertain me. Which is what this book did.

It's like a futuristic fairytale. America is a strong person, who is still herself through it all. She doesn't try to fake it, she doesn't go over board with all she is given during the selection process, the gowns, jewels and makeup. In the end she still wants to look and feel like her.
