Pamela Beasley | 34 comments Hi,
My book just became available on kindle this week. It is a novel. I would be glad to purchase and conduct a friendly reader review and post it on amazon in exchange. I like reading many different kinds of genres.
My e-book costs $2.99.

Andrew Lamb (doc_andy) | 16 comments Hi all, I too have a novel on Kindle. Dispatchers is a supernatural thriller set in modern-day London. Dispatchers takes Astral Projection to a dark new level.

Amazon.co.uk = (77p)
Amazon.com = ($1.18)

I will happily read and review in exchange for some friendly/constructive reviews. I am interested in supernatural thrillers and science fiction but will gladly review crime and suspense.

Many thanks and enjoy.

Pamela, is your novel available through Amazon.co.uk? I cannot find it.

message 156: by Pamela (new)

Pamela Beasley | 34 comments Doc,
You're right. It's not available at amazon.co.uk. I didn't know it. I will add it. Hopefully, it will be available in a few days.

message 157: by Pamela (new)

Paul Hughes | 12 comments This is a great idea everyone. I suggest that as we tend to like different things then maybe we could post on here what our books are about.
Maybe another suggestion is that we each put our books on (I am talking kindle versions here) at a very low price just for a couple of days and then advertise it here. That way we can buy more of each other's books and then are able to review more without spending too much money.
My books are fantasy - sword and sorcery type books.
Just go to Amazon and type in 'The Prophecy Paul Hughes' to see the first one. If people are interested then I can put it one for a couple of days at a very low price so that you can download it.
Please let me know about yours as well so I can do the same thing.
My wife reads a book in two days but I take about a week so she may end up doing a lot of the reviews. She loves reading all types of books.

My book is on promo for 99 cents at the moment but I too will do a free promo the same time as yours if you wish to download it and do a review for me. It is a full length fantasy novel (the first in a trilogy which has already been finished and published).

Kevin Futers (gruffling) | 10 comments This is just a general comment, having done a couple of swaps now. I was just wondering what the best thing to do with a book you have just reviewed (assuming that you have a physical book rather than an e-book of course!).

Obviously, you can just keep it on your bookshelf, but as we are trying to promote each others' work, would it not be better to pass it on to a charity bookshop? I know that is a very small gesture in the big old world, but it opens up the author you have reviewed to a different audience, one that may never go on-line, or certainly that may never go on Kindle or other review sites.

I also specifically suggest a charity book shop rather than re-selling online, as all that would do is put another copy of the book on the market, competing for the same limited target audience. Most importantly, a worthwhile cause would benefit from the resale of the book.

What do people think?

PS - I am still open to book review swap offers for The Adventures of the Billy Goats Gruff. ;-)
