What did you think of it?

Annabel ♥ (cinnamonbliss) | 2082 comments I loved it so much! This one was my 2nd favorite John green. John Green is sooo amazing. He's like the only author who's made me cry so hard in a book. His writing is amazing and he just makes you feel so...hollow after you read his books.

Cinthia (cinthiah) This was a fun one to read. I think it's my 2nd favorite John Green book too. The Fault in our Stars kind of set the bar high, though. :)

Christine (chrisasncn) | 1 comments This book totally showed the other side of John Green's writings. Especially when you've already read TFIOS. Great story though.

Stevo | 4 comments green's did it again i'm reading this book trust nobody and i cant put it down a must read dam good so far

Tori (probablytori) | 5 comments This book was so amazing. I can't get over how amazing it was. Just the writing and the plot and the characters and Alaska and everything--perfect. It really puts me off about how many people say that this book is a teenage pornography book. So many people have told me that I shouldn't read it, but I honestly didn't see that much wrong with it. Sure, there were a few references, but you're reading a young adult novel. C'mon. What do you expect?

Nevertheless, I still loved this book, I don't regret buying it, and I'll probably read it again (:

Sarah Kliora (sarahgraykay) I loved this book. To me, it maybe wasn't appropriate for certain ages but if you were mature enough to handle it, it was a really amazing book. I loved the plot, I loved the characters and I loved how John Green also put humor into it even if well...BUT really his books are are absolutely wonderful and I love the meaning he put into the story. I totally agree with you guys.

Drew (Themagicpenguin) | 5 comments I just started it today and I like it. I don't omg-I'm--going-to-marry-this-book love it, but I think that's mostly because I think my subconscious dont want me to read anything other then my favorite genre: fantasy.
Edit: finished it today and I like it but for reason obvious if you read it I am mad at John green. Why! Why why why why why.

Betty Jo Schafer (busylady) | 39 comments I loved it. So profound for a book about high school students.

good book also check the book trust nobody by steven love

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) I really like this book, but I didn't like Alaska that much but I love The Colonel's sense of humor. :)

Pudge reminds me of Charlie from The Perks of being a wallflower though.

Katie (katiehayoz) | 12 comments I usually stick to paranormal YA but picked this up and couldn't believe how involved I got in it. You will cry. A lot. And I hate to cry. But the book is soooooooo good. Like out of this world good. I can't say I liked Alaska much as a character but I'm not sure it even matters, because I cared so much about everyone around her.

Rachelle (mamachelle07) | 105 comments I'm gonna be the odd one out and say I didn't care for it, and I don't care for John Green. The women he writes for the leads in his books drives.me.batty! I've only read 2, but unless another of us books shows up as one of the book that we read in this book club, I'm probably never gonna pick up another of his books again.

I liked it.....It wasn't as great in my opinion as everyone hyped it up so much. But it was a good book.

Yusreen | 11 comments I don't understand how people could not like this book, I mean omg how can you?? Personally, I love this book. Yes, I didn't like Alaska at first but as the story goes by, I'm starting to learn to like her and all her flaws. I also love Pudge, and the colonel :) I love the humor in the book, I just love it! I don't know how else to express my love for the book

message 16: by Rain (new) - rated it 4 stars

Rain Tyndale | 18 comments It wasn't my all time favorite book but it was very good. I instantly loved all the character as the book was intriguing. It was my first John Green book and I can't wait to pick up my next one. :)

Laura | 26 comments I really enjoyed this book. Definitely a coming of age story which I found hard to put down, especially in the after section.
I would love to read another of John Greens books. I have read this and Paper Towns, could anyone recommend another for me?

Rachel (almostasandwich) So far I like it,l but I'm not sure if that will continue. I didn't like Paper Towns.

Rachel (almostasandwich) I actually did like it.

Amanda Reynolds | 2 comments I loved this book, it was hard to love the characters at first, but it didn't take long for me to fall in love with everyone of them. I loved the way the plot was done, I just love John Green novels they never fail to impress me!

Danielle Rohr (wybearpress) | 2 comments I can't wait to read this : ) - Thanks for the good reviews everyone, it must be good based on all the positive reccomendations.

Alex Jacobo | 3 comments Just finished this book and I thought it was FANTASTIC. There were all types of moments, moments where I laughed, moments where I cried, but most importantly moments where it made me think. This story was filled with commentary on the big questions in life. I think it's a book that all young people should read to open their minds up to the inevitable questions that will confront us all. A beautiful piece of literature.

Kirstin (read-always) I loved this book and everything about it made it impossible for me to set it down this was the first John green book I has read since then I think I've read everything he's written. If you haven't read this book something in your life is missing!!

Csencsitz (christinecsencsitz) | 4 comments I read this novel in one night. This was my first John Green novel. Not only was the writing fantastic, but the story was so engaging that I felt like I could not put it down. I have recommended it to a number of friends already.

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) I really like this book. It wasn't as good as TFiOS but the message of this book was great.

Samantha A I liked this book more than TFiOS actually, this one made me cry a lot more.

Cindy I loved it! But I did think TFiOS was better.

Sajid Rabby (rabbyx7xafc) | 1 comments I just finished reading it. It was my 2nd John Green book, TFIOS being the first, and so I had this weird notion that I won't like it the way I liked TFIOS, the bar was definitely raised very high...

But I loved it. I loved it to bits. John Green, you are definitely one of my favorite authors now..

This book will definitely stay with me for a long long time...

@Annabel: "he just makes you feel so...hollow after you read his books."

I was lacking the perfect words which will describe how I felt after reading this book, I guess that sentence describes exactly the way I feel now...

message 30: by Riya (new) - rated it 1 star

Riya I was quite disappointed by this one. It was my first John Green book and although I liked parts of the message, I really disliked many of the characters, found the plot extremely predictable, and kinda just wanted more out of it.

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

I loved this book! Im contemplating on weither i should buy it or not!

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

I borrowed it from a friend and i loved it. The title threw me off i didn't think it would be good but it was amazing!

Bryanna Banks (booknerdbree) | 19 comments UGGGHHHHH! Don't get me started.... Okay you have me started. Alaska was so forward with everything, I felt so bad that she put soo much pressure on her to remember to do everything. Didn't deserve it.

Sofie ☆ | 1 comments This is my all time favorite! I loooved every single second of this book. Does anyone have a new recommendation for me??
