Okay, Annie! Welcome!

Hello, everybody.

Simply put I LOVE horror! At first as a young child I found that horror movies in particular terrified me and I would become very nervous at the mere mention of one. This was in part to my father showing me such classics as The Evil Dead, Aliens and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, all aroud the tender age of five.
Now I can't get enough of the stuff in any form, be it book, movie, comic or video game. So hopefully this is the right place for me and soon I hope to yukking it up with the rest of you!

Just wanted to introduce myself... I love reading horror and watching horror--always have. Probably my all-time favorite horror novel has to be 'The Great and Secret Show' by Clive Barker.
Although I have been writing non-fiction for years now (mostly scientific manuscripts), I just recently (as of August 1st!) traversed the great divide and have started publishing fiction... horror, of course!
I can't wait to get to know some/most/all of you,
Patrick

Will do Jenny! Thanks!

I look forward being involved with this group and meeting others!

Horrors be upon thee.

Hello and welcome, Josh!

An new author I suggest to check out is Jeremy Bates, he writes suspense packed thrillers (horror) also there is a new series that is a supernatural horror, Linger. With five stories already out there, it is horror candy. The author name is Edward Fallen, but in reality that's the pen name for a team collaboration of the work. I've done a few short reviews on these author works if you care to check them out. Keep reading!

As Always

I've been posting in this group for a few weeks now and figured I would say hello. I've been fascinated with horror fiction since I read Robert Bloch's Your's Truly, Jack the Ripper in an old Alfred Hitchcock anthology when I was 8 years old. I'll read anything from splatterpunk to Charles Grant "quiet" horror. Always looking for recommendations. Thanks
