A Song of Ice and Fire (aka Game of Thrones). I'll probably never try the 3rd book as the 2nd was painfully boring.

I'll second The Lord of the Rings as I tried to read the first one and just couldn't get into it, despite how much I love the movies. I'd also agree with A Song Of Ice And Fire, as although I love the books, they're very long and tough to get through. Hence why I've only read the first two so far.

2. Peppermint mocha: Name a book that gets more popular during the winter or a festive time of year.
I think a lot of classics, but I'll say Little Women is one I tend to notice being read more at this time of the year.

3. Hot chocolate: What is your favorite children’s book?
A Necklace of Raindrops and Other Stories

4. Double shot of espresso: Name a book that kept you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.
Battle Royale

5. Starbucks: Name a book you see everywhere.
The Fault in Our Stars

6. That hipster coffee shop: Give a book by an indie author
I don't think I've actually read any, I think this is something I need to start doing more.

7. Oops! I accidentally got decaf: Name a book you were expecting more from.
To Kill a Mockingbird I did still like it but I thought I would love it and it just didn't do that much for me.

8. The perfect blend: Name a book or series that was both bitter and sweet but ultimately satisfying.
I second Harry Potter!

I think A Game of Thrones is hard because the character relationships are complicated.

It's a little obvious, but my family has always read The Night Before Christmas (at least when I was younger)

E.A. | 11 comments 1. Black: Name a series that’s tough to get into but has hardcore fans.
The Hollow Series by Jessica Verday, it was just so painful, but I bough them as a set, and I was on a sail, and I had nothing else to read :'(... though the last book was the best and had a very untypical ending.

2. Peppermint mocha: Name a book that gets more popular during the winter or a festive time of year.
A Christmas Carol

3. Hot chocolate: What is your favorite children’s book?
Ella Enchanted, not the movie... I loved this book so much, and was sad how much the movie strayed from it.

4. Double shot of espresso: Name a book that kept you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.
Candidate by Rachel E. Carter... and then she ended with a cliff hanger! My poor heart!

5. Starbucks: Name a book you see everywhere.
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard

6. That hipster coffee shop: Give a book by an indie author
Wolf Moon by C.D. Gorri

7. Oops! I accidentally got decaf: Name a book you were expecting more from.
Zodiac by Romina Russell, I was so excited about this book, but I didn't even get half way and put it down... I can't bring myself to finish it, it's just hurt my head to much!... Why, just why, are you so bad!

8. The perfect blend: Name a book or series that was both bitter and sweet but ultimately satisfying.
The Soul Screamers Series by Rachel Vincent, they're sweet/dark books that don't follow the normal YA cliché. They had good ending and it was good series, but even though I'm happy with the ending, it was very bitter sweet.

The Harry Potter series!

Marta (gezemice) 1. Black: Name a series that’s tough to get into but has hardcore fans.
I love Song of Ice and Fire, aka A Game of Thrones, but it is clearly not everyone's cup of tea. The books are long and there are many storylines. I find them fascinating and cannot put them down, but clearly some think they are boring...

2. Peppermint mocha: Name a book that gets more popular during the winter or a festive time of year.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

3. Hot chocolate: What is your favorite children’s book?
Well... no one would have heard of my favorite Hungarian book, which was about a police dog named Kantor. With my kids I must say we enjoyed The Lorax the most.

4. Double shot of espresso: Name a book that kept you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.
The Martian

5. Starbucks: Name a book you see everywhere.
Go Set a Watchman

6. That hipster coffee shop: Give a book by an indie author
Define indie! If it means less than 1000 Ĺ·±¦ÓéŔÖ ratings, then Robert Rankin probably qualifies. I am currently reading Web Site Story, and it is funny and weird, like all of his books.

7. Oops! I accidentally got decaf: Name a book you were expecting more from.
Wuthering Heights. Biggest disappointment of the year. I honestly don't see the appeal of these pointlessly evil people.

8. The perfect blend: Name a book or series that was both bitter and sweet but ultimately satisfying.
The Color Purple. An amazingly human book.
