The Listopia Challenge - 2016

1. Post here telling the challenge leader that you'd like to join the challenge. You can choose your books for the challenge at the beginning, or add them as you go. You can join a challenge at any time, as long as the challenge is still active.
2. Whenever you finish a book for the challenge, post here and let the challenge leader know so they can update your progress.
Some members choose to update their original post with their progress to keep track of their challenge more easily, but make sure to also post a new message so the challenge leader knows to go look at your original post. You can look at how other members report their progress to find a strategy that works well for you.
For more information about how challenges work, check out This Thread or ask your challenge leader.

Haha, Kara! :D I was already planning to use one list you're also considering - Quality Dark Fiction - because so much of what I read is on that list. I was originally intending to use a list of translations, too, but the Around the World in Books challenge has me covered, so there's no need to double up the whole list.
I just updated my sign-up post (msg #4) with my lists. :)

I want to read a total of 20 books over 4 lists, 5 from each list, no rereads.

Just a heads-up. The link to your personal list in the first post isn't working, because the colon after the https is missing. (If you hover on the link, it shows https// instead of .)
I manually added the colon, and it works fine.

Just a heads-up. The link to your personal list in the first post isn't working, because the colon after the https is missing. (If you hover on the link, it shows https// instead..."
Both links were acting up. Thanks for catching that. I started typing things in a Google Doc and transferring because I have trouble in the comment blocks. With the copy and pasting links and other things. Hopefully it won't happen again.

It's back! After popular demand, the Listopia challenge is returning for another year! Feel free to carry on your goal from the previous years, or to update with new goals and new lists. :)
ŷ features a number of user created lists which can be found here: Listopia
Besides the featured and popular lists on the main page you can see lists your friends have voted on as well as search for lists with topics that interest you.
The number of lists you choose and the number of books you read from each is entirely up to you. One person might choose to read the Top 100 books from one list, another person may choose to read the Top 5 books from 10 lists. You decide and mix it up any way you like.
Rules :
Choose your list (or multiple lists!) and the number of books you plan to read from each.
State your goals in your first post (posting a link to your lists is recommended*).
Any format of book, cross challenging etc. are all fine.
You can keep track in your Member's Corner or update here.
When you finish off a list, post your completed list here so we can all congratulate you!
* NOTE: Posting a link is not necessary, but it does help others find the list you are referring too if they want to check it out as well! If you do want to post a link, here are the instructions.
1. Find your list and copy the URL (which can be found at the top of your browser, in the box with the website address)
2. When posting your comment in the comment box, the code you use to add a link is this: (backspace all the *) <*a href="/">Name of list here<*/a*>.
3. Paste the URL of your list between the two " in the first tag.
For example this (without the *):
Best Book on My Shelf
(This is my personally created list; please feel free to vote on it).
If you would like to share any of your personal Listopias, please feel free to do so in this thread.
