You may not be able to edit or link titles from your Kindle if using the GR app. For those things you must go to the actual website. I have the same dilemma so I know what a pain it is!

The app is great for basic comments, updating status and lots of other things. But the website just offers so much more. I do my daily check-ins via smartphone and I love the app for that, but for setting up threads and editing my challenges I have to access through my browser.

I like this idea and am going to attempt to read 20 books using these descriptions. I also follow the genre challenge but I chose my own books from the genres. I just want to say I am happy that these challenges have come to my attention because it has broadened my range of reading to select books I normally wouldn't notice. Does anyone know of any fiction books with a protagonist that is an engineer? I'm a mechanical, but I don't think I can be that picky.

Wool by Hugh Howey. A novel set in the future where humanity is limited to groups living in underground silos after a nuclear attack. Within these silos the population have specific jobs that are essential for survival such as medical, farming, IT and Mechanical. It's a great read.

I have tried to cut and paste this challenge but my kindle won't let me do it. Could you cut and paste it for me here? Best wishes Clare

I'm sorry, Clare, but that won't work out the way you expect. If I do the cutting and pasting then you won't be able to edit in the updates as you complete them.

An option for you would be to go to another electronic device and access the website. Then cut and paste to create your challenge. After that you should be able to access the post from your Kindle to do updates. (Theoretically. My Kindle is "readonly" so I can't test the theory.)
