All added to the schedule list :)

Just saw it mentioned in the nomination tread. I would like to join.

Michaela, sorry I did not respond earlier. You asked if our January 2021 Buddy Read book
Tracks by Louise Erdrich or any of the four books in the Love Medicine series can be read as stand alone books. Yes, I believe so. Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ calls them "Louise Erdrich's multi-generational epic on the long-lasting effects of colonialism on Ojibwe peoples and communities."

Thanks Michaela. I will substitute for the broken link. I know what you mean about January. I am slated for Tracks, Cranford, and The Portrait of a Lady.

No, I missed the request.
No, I missed the request.
Katy,
July - A View of the Harbour
August - The Aspern Papers
September - The Wings of the Dove
Thank you!

Are you going to use a new thread for this one? Or continue in your current thread?

I will!
Katy,
Sorry to be a pain, but we have decided to postpone The Wings of the Dove until October.
Could you also add Enemy Women for September when you get a chance.
Many thanks!

I'm busy reading it, I'll join the discussion. It's lovely.

Thank you very much, Sara and Katy! Looking forward to digging into some more Henry James. :-)

Cynda, as far as I can tell the buddy read schedule is up to date. No one has asked to have a thread added or agreed to a buddy read for December. I went through the buddy read requests and did not find any agreement to read Cold Mountain either. If there are buddy reads agreed to, please post the thread request in the request thread, or if I have missed something, let me know.
Cynda wrote: "May we have buddy read schedule posted here for rest of year? I am wondering if we are still reading/were ever committed to reading Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier."
here is your thread for those interested: /topic/show/...
I can easily delete this if there is not a buddy read - like Sara, I didn't see this in the requests either, but made you a thread anyway.

I think someone else was interested in a Buddy Read for Crossing to Safety by Wallace Stegner.

I want to read some books by Erdrich in future, but never started one. Can it be read as a stand-alone? And when do you plan the read?
