Hi, my name is Amy and I am a bookaholic. I just love the readathons. Not sure what else to say about that! :-)
2. What books do you have in your "to be read" pile for the next week?
I threw all my challenges out the window for this week and chose books that were fun, short, quick reads. several are ones I started and haven't finished for various reasons. I am making this a completely fun reading week. :-)
3. Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, etc.)?
Nope, just have fun!
4. Have you made any meals, prepared any snacks, or stocked up on any drinks to tide you over through the read-a-thon?
I have fruit and juice, I am good to go!
5. Where will you be doing your reading? Do you have a special spot picked out or will you be roaming around?
My good chair is cat free for day reading and my new booklight is being delivered tomorrow so night reading in bed is good to go as well.
6. Will you be Tweeting, Instagramming, Vlogging, or Blogging through the event? If so, share your links with us.
That takes far too much time away from reading, so no! :-)

Hi all! I'm 27 and am slightly obsessed with reading (only slightly-lol). I am behind in some of my challenges, but I can rarely turn down a read-a-thon. lol
2. What books do you have in your "to be read" pile for the next week?
I don't really have any specific books in mind. I know I want to finish That Summer (currently at 16%) and read at least 200 pages of A Feast for Crows (currently on page 255).
3. Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, etc.)?
I try not to set book goals/TBRs for read-a-thons anymore. Page goals have been more successful for me so I plan on reading at least 1000 pages (fingers crossed).
4. Have you made any meals, prepared any snacks, or stocked up on any drinks to tide you over through the read-a-thon?
Not yet! We will be doing our grocery shopping here in a day or two and will definitely stock up then. I always like snacks on hand-especially when I'm reading.
5. Where will you be doing your reading? Do you have a special spot picked out or will you be roaming around?
I'll probably do most of my reading on the couch like normal (while my hubby watches his random shows). I did just finish setting up our study/library/den so I may spend some reading time there as well.
6. Will you be Tweeting, Instagramming, Vlogging, or Blogging through the event? If so, share your links with us.
Probably not, but if I change my mind I'll share any links/info!

2. What books do you have in your "to be read" pile for the next week? I usually have this all plotted out but I'm going to wait to see what my team really needs that fits into my various challenges. Stay tuned!
3. Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, etc.)? I want to read as much as I can possibly read. Did I mention I have a lot of catching up to do? If I could read a hundred books this week I'd do it. Realistically I'm aiming for like 6-8.
4. Have you made any meals, prepared any snacks, or stocked up on any drinks to tide you over through the read-a-thon?
Oh yes, there will be guacamole and plantain chips because I'm obsessed and I'm still doing a Whole30.
5. Where will you be doing your reading? Do you have a special spot picked out or will you be roaming around? I think I'll be roaming a bit and trying to catch some fresh air while it's still warm and wonderful out.
6. Will you be Tweeting, Instagramming, Vlogging, or Blogging through the event? If so, share your links with us. I usually throw out some tweets and I might get in on the Instagram action this time. I am @ girlvsbooks on Twitter and Instagram.

This is my first Read-a-Thon. I joined because I love reading and enjoy challenges.
2. What books do you have in your "to be read" pile for the next week?
So far, I plan to tackle Necessity and Faust.
3. Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, etc.)?
I wish to read at least two books this week.
4. Have you made any meals, prepared any snacks, or stocked up on any drinks to tide you over through the read-a-thon?
Coffee and Cheez-Its are in plentiful supply!
5. Where will you be doing your reading? Do you have a special spot picked out or will you be roaming around?
I usually roam about the house, but now I will venture outdoors as well.
6. Will you be Tweeting, Instagramming, Vlogging, or Blogging through the event? If so, share your links with us.
I do not plan to do so, but one never knows! If anything changes, then I will update.

I'm 29, I live in Switzerland and I love reading (duh, obviously). I work full time, but I wanted to participate in the read-a-thon to try to read more and also have an excuse to spend my evenings with my books ;)
2. What books do you have in your "to be read" pile for the next week?
I decided that I wanted to tick a maximum of books off my ATY list, starting with the shorter ones:
Fables
Big Fish
Face Paint: The Story of Makeup
Where Late the Sweet Birds Sang
3. Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, etc.)?
I won't set a specific goal, but I'd be very happy if I can read them all!
4. Have you made any meals, prepared any snacks, or stocked up on any drinks to tide you over through the read-a-thon?
Nothing special.
5. Where will you be doing your reading? Do you have a special spot picked out or will you be roaming around?
On my comfy couch and in the garden.
6. Will you be Tweeting, Instagramming, Vlogging, or Blogging through the event? If so, share your links with us.
I just started adding my books on my Instagram account, so I think I'm going to post a few pictures. You can follow me @nemone13

I'm Lieke and I love to read :D
I'm a bit behind on my challenge and I have a few large books left so I hope this Read-a-Thon will help me get on track again.
2. What books do you have in your "to be read" pile for the next week?
I'm currently reading three books I hope to finish: How I Live Now, The Housekeeper and the Professor and Het Dolende Schip (The Mad Ship). But I might start another book if it can help my team.
3. Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, etc.)?
Enjoy my reading and read as much as possible
4. Have you made any meals, prepared any snacks, or stocked up on any drinks to tide you over through the read-a-thon?
Not yet, maybe I have to do some shopping :)
5. Where will you be doing your reading? Do you have a special spot picked out or will you be roaming around?
Depending on the weather: on my couch or outside and in bed
6. Will you be Tweeting, Instagramming, Vlogging, or Blogging through the event? If so, share your links with us.
none, I will read and spend time on ŷ but nothing else

Hi, I'm Aglaea and I love books. I'm behind on my group challenge since I've read some other books instead, but I do want to finish it this year rather than the next.
2. What books do you have in your "to be read" pile for the next week?
There's Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks and Never Let Me Go to make progress on, Northanger Abbey to finish, and from non-challenge books to finish Only a Promise and Star Racers. At least.

I want to cut down on the number of currently-reading books!
4. Have you made any meals, prepared any snacks, or stocked up on any drinks to tide you over through the read-a-thon?
No, it's business as usual.
5. Where will you be doing your reading? Do you have a special spot picked out or will you be roaming around?
Sofa and bed.
6. Will you be Tweeting, Instagramming, Vlogging, or Blogging through the event? If so, share your links with us.
No, just group updates and book reviews here.
1. Tell us a little about yourself and why you decided to participate in the Read-a-Thon.
I'm Laura, many of probably already know but I'm from, and actually currently living in, Ohio. This year has been chaos most of the time so I'm fairly behind in all of my challenges. So this is providing some time for some much-needed catch-up.
2. What books do you have in your "to be read" pile for the next week?
I'm hoping to finish The Girl with All the Gifts today, tomorrow at the latest. I have a few books already checked out at the library but since they're not due right away I may end up switching it up a little. Potential reads:
After the Woods
All the Missing Girls
Between Shades of Gray
Oryx and Crake
3. Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, etc.)?
I would really love to finish 3-4 book since that would chisel away at a big chunk of my deficit. But we'll see :)
4. Have you made any meals, prepared any snacks, or stocked up on any drinks to tide you over through the read-a-thon?
I'm not very big on snacking while I read. I don't think I'm coordinated enough and don't like the distraction.
5. Where will you be doing your reading? Do you have a special spot picked out or will you be roaming around?
We finally got a new sectional a few weeks ago so I spend most of my free time lounging. I may make a trip to the pool at some point.
6. Will you be Tweeting, Instagramming, Vlogging, or Blogging through the event? If so, share your links with us.
Nope, just here in the group.

4. Have you made any meals, prepared any snacks, or stocked up on any drinks to tide you over through the read-a-thon? No, I have dogs and other responsibilities so I can't just sit down and read for hours upon hours so I still have to take breaks in my reading.

I love books & reading, just like all you wonderful people. Ever since last year, I've been pretty obsessed with reading challenges. I've never participated in a read-a-thon before, so I'm pretty excited about this. I have a ton of books that I have out from the library right now. Don't know how many I'll get to this week.

I'm an Icelandic living in Sweden together with my husband. I love being in nature, doing yoga, meditation, climbing, hanging out with friends and family when I can (my family lives in Iceland) - and reading of course. I have however gotten sidetracked from my reading this year by too much overtime at work, so I want to use this week to get back on track as much as I can with the ATY challenge during the nights! And have fun of course!

I want to finish Dark Places, The Complete Persepolis, and Yoga for Life: A Journey to Inner Peace and Freedom
Also, I will read something from a looong list of options depending on what my bingo team needs (and I like having a lot to choose from), for example:

I'm Rachel, and I've been using the challenges in the past couple of years to really get back into reading. I used to be a huge reader when I was younger, but going to university and college took away a lot of my free time. The PopSugar challenge last year really got me back into it and onto GoodReads, and I now have a list of close to 900 books to read! I decided to participate in the Read-a-Thon because I participated in the last one, and it was a lot of fun.
2. What books do you have in your "to be read" pile for the next week?
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
Devoted
Love Letters to the Dead
3. Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, etc.)?
Nothing specific, just read as much as possible.
4. Have you made any meals, prepared any snacks, or stocked up on any drinks to tide you over through the read-a-thon?
I don't really eat or drink while reading because I'm too paranoid about damaging my books with stains.
5. Where will you be doing your reading? Do you have a special spot picked out or will you be roaming around?
My room, either on my bed or in front of my computer (so I can control the music).
6. Will you be Tweeting, Instagramming, Vlogging, or Blogging through the event? If so, share your links with us.
I only post on here and I post when I start each book on Facebook, listing the title, the prompt it is for, and a bit about why I chose it.

I'm Adam, Australian reader and writer. Just moved back to Australia from Japan a couple of months ago and it really messed up everything. I'm still trying to get caught back up. Went from having a six book lead in this challenge to being behind by three. I failed the last Read-a-Thon so this time I hope to come out ahead.
2. What books do you have in your "to be read" pile for the next week?
I've got a handful of challenge books I'd like to get into, a few currently reading that I want to finish, a couple of Japanese light novels that will probably drag me in, plus an unfinished manuscript I'm rereading in the hopes of getting around to finish writing it.
3. Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, etc.)?
My primary goal is to make some headway on the challenge books. I'd like to catch up by at least three.
4. Have you made any meals, prepared any snacks, or stocked up on any drinks to tide you over through the Read-a-Thon?
Nope. Honestly didn't know this was happening until around ten minutes ago.
5. Where will you be doing your reading? Do you have a special spot picked out or will you be roaming around?
Gonna fluctuate between my bed and my chair in the lounge room.
6. Will you be Tweeting, Instagramming, Vlogging, or Blogging through the event? If so, share your links with us.
Probably not. Won't be doing much outside chatting on here.

I'm Bec from Adelaide, Australia. I decided to join the read-a-thon as I've not done one before and it sounded fun!
2. What books do you have in your "to be read" pile for the next week?
Flip by David Estes, Hero's Moment and then I will see what my mood decides :)
3. Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, etc.)?
