Just finished Damned to Fame: The Life of Samuel Beckett for the 800 series. What a book!! I couldn't put it down. A biography!! If you want to read Beckett I'd recommend this as a great place to start.

9/10 now! One more to go!! This challenge has been a good one for me. Tougher than I expected, but worth the effort.
Just finished Our Sacred Signs, Soltes 704.948. I found it interesting and enjoyed reading it. He covered Jewish, Christian, and Muslim sacred signs. Religious symbols from the beginning of each religion (and before) to the end of the 20th century including some of the work from Picasso and Warhol. Surprised me with much of the recent history observations.
