The Fate of Ten

- Who are the authors?
Pittacus Lore: Jobie Hughes and James J. Frey

- If you could write a novel with any author, who would it be and why?
I'm not a writer myself but if I would be I would like to write a book with Raymond E. Feist

Joseph Bruchac and Gayle Ross

- If you could write a novel with any author, who would it be and why?
Let's be ambitious and say Margaret Atwood, because her writing is the best, but I would be able to steer her from making her books boring like The Blind Assassin or Oryx and Crake

She Walks in Shadows by Silvia Moreno-Garcia

- Who are the authors?
There are around 25 authors. I think I read none of them before.

- If you could write a novel with any author, who would it be and why?
Someone with whom it'd be fun to exchange crazy ideas about the plot. Maybe Gaiman? :)

They both write mysteries which are based on facts and historical events, which are very literate, and which have characters which seem real...very well fleshed out. I would love to be able to write that well.

J. K. Rowling because I love her writing and it seems like she has a bit of a twisted mind too (see the Cormoran Strike series), so it'd be fun to discuss horrific ways to kill off characters.

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

Who are the authors?
Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows

If you could write a novel with any author, who would it be and why?
That's a tough question. If I had to pick one I'd say Philip Pullman because I'd love to understand how he creates such vivid, detailed settings for his books, and how he manages to weave a lot of quite serious ideas into his books without those themes completely dominating the story. I'm planning to re-read the His Dark Materials series this year and I'm looking forward to his new book being released in Autumn.

Curious Minds

Janet Evanovich and Phoef Sutton

If you could write a novel with any author, who would it be and why?

Terry Pratchett

Two reasons why: The first is purely selfish, I just want to hang out with him. The second is for everyone - I think we need more Discworld books, so our "co-written" novel (he dictates, I type) would be thousands of pages long, and released in many, many installments of around 300 pages each.

A Carrion Death

Who are the authors?
Michael Stanley who is actually Michael Sears and Stanley Trollip. One lives in Johannesburg, South Africa the other in Minneapolis. I really find it fascinating that these two men who live so far apart decided to combine their names to create an author and write a series based in Botswana.

If you could write a novel with any author, who would it be and why?

I am not an author and do not pretend that I can create whole worlds to people with heroes and villains. I am an avid reader who enjoys the fruit of others labours, may they continue to prolifically do so.
