I read it and it was a great book, but

By a person of color? I know she writes a lot about the experiences of blacks, but what is Sue Monk Kidd's ethnicity?

message 71: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Montanaro (lisamontanaro) Marilyn - You are correct that Sue Monk Kidd is Caucasian. Her characters may be people of color, but she is not. I love her books but don't plan to use her for this category.
