Beth (k9odyssey) I listed many satires on the bookshelf (some light, some dark). Check them out and if you see something that's missing that you would like to be considered for our May Poll, add it in this folder.

The can view the current list of satires on the bookshelf here.

George P. Douglas Adam's The Hitchhiker's Guide... is already on the shelf. How about adding his Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency or The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul? This is a series and the Holistic Detective novel is the 1st. They are among the most highly-rated and popular novels included in Boxall's "1001 Books You Must Read...". I've previously read The Hitchhiker's Guide and maybe a lot of the other members have also.

That's a good idea, George! I have read Hitchhiker's Guide + the whole series (and loved it!). I haven't read Dirk Gently though.
