Drake waited impatiently.

Drake tilted his head to the side. "Then who are you?"

"So someone is controlling you?" Drake took away Shiad's power, just to be safe.

"Yes I do. I'm just being cautious until I know where you stand. Who gave you orders? And why did you follow them?"

"Then what are the motives of the ones who command you?"

"And what are the means they seek to use?"

Brielle listened quietly.

Drake nodded. "I remember. Now, if the people who are telling you what to do are trying to save the planet, then why would the kill you if you said who they are?"

Brielle hid behind a shelf and opened a random book called The Testing and pretended to read.

Brielle got bored and left.

"Tell me all that you can."

Drake threw his hands in the air. "How on earth will I stay off their bad side if I don't know who they are?!"

"That simple huh? Blowing something up? What if we were blowing the OTWs up?"

Drake nodded. "Good to know."

Drake heard a laugh. "Sounds like he found what he's looking for."

Drake gave Shiad his power back. "It's done."

Sarah bit her lip, turning and walking away.

Drake went to the door that Injust is behind. "How's it going in there?"

Drake frowned. "I don't think so."

"Um, just a minute." Drake walked of to Shiad and whispered, "He wants a genealogy book now."

Drake smiled. "Okay." He went and told Injust this.

Sarah glances over her shoulder, looking at him. She blinks, then turns, looking at the ground in front of her.

She doesn't even look at him. "Shaid."

"There's a lot I haven't told you, but my intentions are pretty damn straight. I'm hurt, Shaid. A week ago feeling hurt was hardly possible, and now you've done it..." she said.

"Shaid..."

"I love you," she said, quietly.

"That's what I'm asking myself, Shaid."

"I know it too, but I'm looking past it," she replied, voice cracking.

"I haven't taken off the ring, that has to say something," she said.

Sarah turns and walks away.

Drake drew his broad sword and stabbed it at Injust.

Sarah heard and turned around. "Oh my God..." she gasped in horror, running up.

Drake pulls the sword back, then thrust it at Injust's stomach.

Drake took away any power Injust might have, not being sure what it was. He drew his gun and fired at Injust.

Drake drops his weapons and punched Injust in the face, his full body armor making the punch more solid.

Drake made two knife blades extend from his wrist guards. "I've been training my whole life."

Drake attacked instantly, stomping one armored foot down on Injust's foot and stabbing at his chest with one of the knives.
