I highly recommend The Ghost Bride, it's a wonderful book, however- Malaysia is considered part of Southeast Asia, not part of Oceania. I'm not sure what sites you found saying it is, but I every site I checked did not list Malaysia, and I checked about 20 different sites.

Wellington (stenella) | 104 comments I read The Things She's Seen by Ambelin and Ezekiel Kwaymullina for this challenge. It was a beautifully written book.

Lillian (lilliannedeau) | 17 comments I read Mullumbimby by Melissa Lucashenko for this challenge. It is a story of aboriginal Goori people trying to reclaim their heritage. The author is an indigenous Australian. I found this book extraordinary. Highly recommend.
