I don't believe Circe is coming out in 2019. it's only just been optioned. as far as I was able to google it's not in production yet

I've picked three books and have discovered that none of them are actually being made in 2019 (or ever) sooo I'm still stuck. Haha.

Hi, I'm new here! I think I'm going to read Pet Sematary. I didn't like the other Stephen King I've read but I want to keep reading to try to understand what people like about him so much

Max, which King did you read? He has some great ones (Pet Sematary is one of them) but definitely some duds as well!

I read Misery, which came highly recommended from some friends, but I just couldn't get into it.

Aw that’s sad, Misery is another of my favorites! Well hopefully you enjoy Pet Sematary, it’s one that King actually shelved for a bit because he thought it went too far! It’s pretty sad as well as horrific.

I'm thinking of reading The Sun is Also a Star. I wanted to try The Woman in the Window, but a lot of people said it's just like Girl on the Train and Gone Girl, both of which I didn't enjoy. Either that or Pet Sematary! I've also never read Catch-22 but feel like I should lol.

I've decided to revisit Little Women for this month. Haven't read it since I was about 12, so I think it'll be fun and nostalgic. Snagged a free copy from Project Gutenberg, which I recommend checking out whenever you're going to read any classics -- they have loads of legal copies of books no longer in copyright.

I had a hard time choosing but I think I'm going with The Sun Is Also a Star for this challenge.

I think I'm going to read Little Women, but I'm not entirely sure I'll like it. I suppose I could probably get away with We Have Always Lived in the Castle since it never ended up coming out in 2018 afaik? and I didn't go through with reading it.

Little Women is my all-time favorite book, I'm so happy so many are reading it!

There are so many books from this challenge that were already on my reading list that i know I’m about to try and read them all before January is up (which is ridiculous and takes some of the enjoyment away but i know myself when I get back into my reading phases lol).

I own “Where’d You Go, Bernadette,�� “The Nightingale,�� “The Underground Railroad,�� “The Rosie Project,�� “The Knife of Never Letting Go,�� and “Nos4a2.�� I also have “The Woman in the Window�� on audiobook, and I think I am going to buy “Circe.��

It’s going to be a busy month!

Oh and I have “The Turn of the Screw�� on ebook because I like old gothic novels. Oh boy!

Probably Where'd You Go, Bernadette since I own it. But I might read some others too :D

Is "The Underground Railroad" coming out in 2019? I also own it and can read it with you!

Are there any other lists of books being adapted this year? Only I've already read most of the ones on our list or I'm just not interested in the plots.

I just saw on ONTD that Agatha Christie's The ABC Murders is being adapted by Amazon! Comes out in February. Yes bitch, I know what I'm reading!

Oh shit, is it? Then I guess it doesn't.

And I looked it up to see if the BBC was going to come up with any more Christie adaptations in 2019 and they just announced Death Comes at the End for 2019. Apparently it's a historical fiction + mystery set in ancient Egypt! So, that sounds pretty neat as well.

I think I'm going to read Artemis Fowl. I can get it out of the way as quickly as possible that way.
Looks like this year is starting out just like last year. Haha.

My main goal for this month’s challenge is to read Good Omens. I will also try to finish Little Women and All The Bright Places.

I actually picked up Death Comes as the End! It's one of the few Agatha Christie novels not to have an adaptation yet, so it seems like it's a lot less in demand. I had to try 3 library systems before I found it, so best of luck to anyone else looking for it!

I'm also gonna read The Underground Railroad because I've been meaning to.

Last year, there were a ton of books I wanted to read for this challenge, and this year I struggled to find something that caught my interest!

Yeah it looks like all the update progress options are gone? Like on the two I'm "currently reading," I don't see my progress or "update progress" underneath them. smh ŷ������.

I have had Can You Keep a Secret? on my want to read shelf for a while now and many of you have written previously about it being very good. now that I'm free from the phd I hope I can keep up with the challenge!

I started the Nightingale but bailed after a chapter because I just want to read something engaging and less... whatever the Nightingale is. I’ll probably pick up The Sun Is Also A Star. I read the first 43 pages as a sample on my library app and really enjoyed it, so when it’s finally available I’ll read the rest. I’ll pick up the Nightingale eventually, but it was giving me WWII fatigue right off the top and I’m just not in the mood for it now.

I looked it up earlier on the forum here, and they said they were disabling it for site maintenance but it would be up by this afternoon - but that doesn't seem to be the case so they must be behind. You can still update progress from the app though. I did just finish a book - but I just went to the page for the book and changed it "read".

I'm going to reread the Goldfinch for this challenge, since I did enjoy it the first time around and nothing else sounds interesting.

I've never actually read (or seen) little women so I think I'm gonna pick that up for this month.

I'm going to start with Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch. It's been years since I read it and I'm actually getting pretty excited for the series.

If I have time I'll also try to read Artemis Fowl. I think I may have read it in middle school, but I can't remember lol.

I just finished Artemis Fowl. I liked it for the most part. I would have liked it more as a kid though.

I've been looking at adaptation lists and I think i'm most interested in The visible filth by Nathan Ballingrud - a novella which has been adapted into a horror which is coming out pretty soon

I'm going to go with All the Bright Places because i have a copy on my bookshelf already
