I was reading this as a buddy read for Flashlight Readers, and I have to thank my partner for introducing me to this wonderful book. It's not YA, Adult, or anything in between. It's truly universal. I have already reviewed this elsewhere, so I'm just going to copy and paste that here. :)
I thought this was going to be a thriller. It wasn't. Instead I was hit with an emotionally haunting book, that was honest and real. There were monsters, but not the kind that you are thinking of. And there was fear. Fear of letting go, and fear of holding on. The book reminds me of John Connolly's The Book of Lost Things. I will definitely read it again in the future.

Thanks for reading and stay safe!
