I'll start. I'm Dianne Lynn Gardner, and author of both YA and new adult fantasy. I love reading especially stories that stretch my imagination, and delve into a fascinating world but which have compelling and flawed characters I can learn to love.

I like to include in my books a dab of historical content or current affairs as seen in Cassandra's Castle, Pouraka and Altered (only Altered is published yet). Much of the landscape in my books include forests the Pacific Northwest, or the shimmering deserts of Arizona where I used to live, add to that a pinch of magic dust and a few million stars and you just might find the portal to another Realm as in the Ian's Realm Saga.

I'm happily married to a man that puts up with my celestial wanderings and wonderings, I'm also the mother of seven lovely adult children and grandmother to sixteen gorgeous boys and girls.

I love writing, painting in oils and living in other dimensions. Life is much more colorful that way! Some of my books are middle grade to young adult adventure fantasies with dragons and wizards and sorcery and battles on the high seas. While others are meant for a more refined audience. My grandchildren are a big inspiration for my stories. There’s a shared camaraderie, something akin to what C.S. Lewis said about someday being old enough to enjoy fairy tales again.

I'm currently stretching my tent stakes in to Indie film production. Our team is working on a production of Book V of the Ian's Realm Saga titled Cassandra’s Castle. I hope to have the book published this year soon!

Tena (pioneergirl08) | 6 comments My Name is Tena Carr. I am pretty much your run-of-the-mill 40 something wife & mom. Nothing all that exciting about me, really. I have been married for 18-1/2 years now and we have one son who is now halfway through his first teen year. He even has the start o a little "stache' {EEEEEPPPP}.

The two subjects I enjoy the most are anything having to do with The Fire/EMS Service (sorry for the double speak there) and Reading/Writing. I do try my hand and Needlecrafts (cross-stitch, crochet, knifty-knitting, etc) and am working on a glove-box cover for medical gloves.

I've always enjoyed reading, from the time I was very young. I have been told that once when my aunt was going to read me a bedtime story, I ended up reading it to her instead.

Most of my writing is in the form of writing challenges entries that I come across on Word Press. Most of my stories are in the recesses of my mind (flitting around in there) but, like my veins when a needle comes near, they seem to disappear when I try to thoughts to paper (literal or digital)..... Ohhhh and Grammar is not my friend. My grammar isn't atrocious, but I find it a struggle to get complex sentences to flow together correctly.

Anything you'd like to know?? Just ask and I'll answer (as long as it doesn't get too personal).

Laurel Robbins | 1 comments My name is Laurel, and I admit that I am powerless over the written word. I want to thank all of those enablers who feed my ever-growing desire to read. If it was not for all the wonderful authors, I would be reduced to reading the label of the Pepto Bismol bottle and the directions on the back of the shampoo over and over again. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

Linda (lindalou42) Hi, I'm Linda and I'm an author and a reader. I have 2 novels out, Take 2 and Incantation, contemporary romances. I'm working on another romance and I have some non-romances planned. This looks to be a busy year.

I work full time and write part time. I also have a 26 yr old daughter, 2 yr old granddaughter and a honey who's very supportive.

I'm part of a readers group here in the DFW area so I have a mountain of books to read. It's a great place to hear what romance readers are looking for. I'm a featured author this November at Readers 'n Rita's this fall. If you'll be in the area you should check it out. We have a ton of fun!!

I'm all over social media, have a blog and am working on a website this spring. Look me up. Love to connect.

Well I'm a reader too, though I didn't state that in my last intro. I don't read fast, and I'm really busy half the time but when I get into a good book I don't put it down until it's finished.

Brian Bigelow (brian_bigelow) | 1 comments As some of you know I was an author but I've quit and now I'm just a reader now since my wife left me. It is kind of cool though to see my special print edition collection shelved on the built in bookshelf in the office that I spent the last three years. Thank you for inviting me.

Welcome Brian. Maybe someday you'll write again. Never say never. But reading is wonderful!

Lana (spiritwarrior) | 1 comments Hi, my name is Lana Lee. I am 64 years old who loves the written word whether it is a book or eBook and love reading any style book. I am not crazy about poetry but I would read that too. I started loving books when I first began to read. I have been all over the world, time traveled, went to new universes, met lots of weird, good/bad, wonderful characters. And I love the authors who have the imagination and knowledge to feed my brain.
