iSpy Challenge!
For the final quarterly challenge of 2020, I’m trying out something a tad different! Remember when we were kids, driving in the car with mom and/or dad and being completely bored out of our minds. So what’d we do? We played iSpy! Well, we’re bringing our childhood memories to the forefront with this challenge by playing iSpy Book Edition!!



Each team will be given a book cover. I will pick an object on the cover and you will work as a team to guess what it is that I’m thinking of. But of course there’s a catch! ;P

Page Points
1 - 99 pages �� 0.5 pts (and it will only count for page points - not clues)
100 - 149 pages �� 1 pt
150 - 249 pages �� 2 pts
250 - 349 pages �� 3 pts
350 - 449 pages �� 4 pts
450 - 549 pages �� 5 pts
550+ pages �� 6 pts

Buddy Reads will DOUBLE your points.
BOTM will TRIPLE your points.



Challenge Rules
Each team will be given a book cover (with tons of stuff on it muahahaha :D). Members will need to guess what it is that I’m spying/thinking of. In order to make a guess, you will need to pick an object on the cover and read a book that either: 1. Has that same object on the cover of your book, 2. The object can be spelled out using the title/series title/author name, OR 3. The object is in the text of the book you’re reading.

For example:

is the book cover you need to guess from

To make your guess
Has that same object on the cover of your book
The object can be spelled out using the title/series title/author name
The object is in the text of the book you’re reading

Your guess is shoe.
You could read The Cinderella Murder by Mary Higgins Clark for the first option.
You could read In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner for the second option.
Option three is self explanatory. (lol)

After a team finds the object, I will then pick a new object on the cover and you all will start over.



Book covers that you’ll be searching from will change weekly. (so that teams don’t have to use the same objects over and over and over) They will change Thursday mornings (between 8am-12pm EST). Remember to get your guesses in for that book’s cover before this time. Otherwise you’ll have to find a new object on the next cover to use your book for.

A SS will be made for each team and put onto the teams chat threads sometime before the start of the challenge.
