I went with a pattern of adding the two previous levels experience together to get the next level.

So far for Feb we only have the ones listed. For March I have quite a few in the works. They'll also be some alternative ways to augment your max health. (And probably some full resting heals too)

I missed the resting heals stuff. How long do you need to rest to be fully healed?

Are you thinking that you'll run out of things to work on in Feb? I'm willing to bump up a few more quests into February if people feel we need to.

Right now you can do resting heals by spelling out healing words. (1 hp per letter).

I'm planning on adding quests that will give the same type of full heal that you get from leveling up since levels will be coming slower as you get higher.

Frankly, yes. So any new quests to gain experience points would be appreciated.

Oh my, new quests. Now I have to change all my February reading plans. :)

I'm kidding, I love that now we have more options. There's so many quests now that everybody can find a perfect one for him/herself.

I have a couple of questions regarding the Academy quest.

"2)Read and Participate in a BOM Discussion
6) Participate in a Buddy Read
8) Request a recommendation or choose one already recommended and read it"

Is it enough to read and participate in the discussion (to provide a link maybe) or do I have to "use up" the book I read for this task.

"3) Volunteer to write DQ for a BOM."

A dumb question: What does DQ stand for? I came up with Drama Queen, Disqualification and Definite Quantity. :p Nevermind I figured it out myself. ;-)

Hello fellow adventurers! I've decided to start my own journey. I hope it's not too late to join. I just spent the last hour reading the old thread and how this role-playing game goes. Sounds complicated but I guess I'll learn along.

Question for you on the Academy quest:

For the option of starting a spell it out challenge and completing at least one word, can we use a challenge we've already started if we start with an empty word?

For example I'm doing the Animal Alphabet Spell It Out, which I started in October, but I haven't started spelling the word "TIGER" at all. So could I use that or do I need to join an entirely new challenge and use of those words?

I like the Academy quest. I've been a NBRC member for a while but this challenge and this quest in particular made me really explore the group and thanks to it I found out so many new things, so many options to have fun within this group. Great job, mods.

Yeah, I discovered few things I didn't catch when we were making this one. But, hey, I thought we have whole month to work all the kinks out. :P

Heh. The intent of this one is that none of them use up a book. They're similar to the introduce yourself quest at the beginning where it's about participation in other area's of NBRC.

You may keep your book to use elsewhere.

1. They're still available.
2. The ranks are not exclusive. You earn them as you complete enough to qualify for that rank.

Adding the note about tasks not using up your books to the description now.

Just to double check, we can start submitting tasks for the new quests today? The books in my infinite tote fit into Date Night perfectly and I fancy a few more exp :-)
