I just finished a time travel book that is copyrighted 2021 and it was great!
It's called Faye, Faraway.
A woman (Faye) travels back to see her mother and is now older than her mother, but there is an instant connection between the two. Faye, the main character sees herself as a young child but also sees her mother from an adult point of view, sort of anyway, since it's hard to think of your mother in any other way than as your mother.
This one had it all with a surprise ending as well ! ! !

Saturday, The Twelfth Of October My review:

Impressive. This would actually be darn good for adult fans of Time Travel SF to read. And fans of Clan of the Cave Bear, for that matter. There is a clue that Mazer, she of the 'issues' novels, wrote it, in that a big concern is how a society responds to women's menstruation, esp. to ritual (or lack thereof) attached to a teen's first blood. But it's about a lot more than that.

It's even got a philosophical thing going on that has nothing to do with the multiple themes of 'civilized' vs. 'primitive' lifestyles. I particularly liked the 'eye-contact' game Zan played in the beginning in NYC. I was particularly disturbed by her mother's inattentiveness to her questions and concerns. And I think the ending, especially, would be terrific fodder for group discussions.

So, yes, I do recommend it for groups, whether of older 'tweens, of teens, or of adults."

If we were to read The End of Eternity some of us might also want to watch a Russian film of it. Just over an hour, and subtitled:

Do You Realize? by Kevin A. Kuhn because I want to reread it, especially after seeing my husband finally do so and him giving it four stars.

Edit. We read this Nov./Dec. 2022. I reread it and enjoyed it just as much as the first time, and the few others who found a copy enjoyed it, too.

The Little Shop of Found Things, as recommended in the members' intro thread.

What the Wind Knows by Amy Harmon. I really enjoyed this book as not only does it have time travel but also an element of historical fiction. Two of my favorite genres all in one!

I like The Perfect Run by Maxime J Durand, it's more fast paced action, the character arcs are so good!

I'm reading Wrong Place Wrong Time now. It's quite good so far.

I also liked In Another Time.

Landline by Rainbow Rowell was a good one.

Time Travelling with a Hamster sound kinda fun. I like breaking up my reading with some light hearted / childrens stories so may check this out.

Another children's novel, contemporary AAPI family story, that is worth a look is A Spoonful of Time by Flora Ahn.

The Impossible Times Trilogy by Mark Lawrence (One Word Kill, Limited Wish, Dispel Illusion)
Replay by Ken Grimwood
Fallen Dragon by Peter F Hamilton (more space opera but with time travel thrown in)

We've read Replay twice.
I'll add Fallen Dragon to the above list after making sure it's ok.
I'd prefer not to add series, but maybe that's just me. So, yeah, One Word Kill, if it's not been read.

I liked one word kill, but I was disapointed with the other two books in the series.
