I need an honest opinion on the plot and flow my dark psychological mystery thriller/urban sci-fi novel of around 80'000 words.

If there's someone who is also able to help with editing and possibly ghost writing to get the novel complete that would be absolutely awesome.

Blurb:
Tom, a young agent working for a secret Swiss organization dedicated to guarding the secret that there is another inhabited planet, is sent to join a research project on an island off the US East Coast.
The project is set up to research an ancient energetic healing method originating from that other planet.
After his arrival Tom starts talking to Nina, one of the projects participants and starts uncovering her troubled past. He also gets to know Josh, the head scientist and initiator of the project and Terry, the project assistant who starts telling Tom and Nina about him and Josh performing secret experiments on children when they were young scientists.
