The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister by Meghan Quinn
Rating: 5*
Review: loved this book! It was super cute. My second Meghan Quinn book and I think she’s becoming one of my fav authors.
I loved how much Bram was really into Julia, and she was kinda oblivious 😂 I love a long-time crush story, especially when it’s the male mc 🥰

Week 1

Read: 09/24/22
Rated: 4 stars
Review: Yup, these two need to get their shit straight. I understand that they needed to go through so they can find each other again but damn just get there already. Hahaha I do like Holly and her candy need. Snickers and Three Musketeers! Yup that’s my go to as well. I did enjoy the way they came together and the banter between them. Enjoyed the second chance these two got and how they learned that even though life took them in separate directions they still found there way back to each other. Sweet ending too.

Week # 2
Option 1

Fair Catch by Kandi Steiner
Date read: 23-25/9/22
Rating: 3.5*
Review: I liked this book but didn't love it as much as others by Kandi Steiner. It's a good college/sports/enemies-to-lovers romance but I struggled with the FMC and how she felt it was ok to point out that the MMC was 'stupid' multiple times (he has Dyslexia - though admittedly she didn't know this at the time). It ruined my connection with the heroine because that is pure nasty whether he has Dyslexia or not.
Looking forward to Blindsided - the second in this series of interconnected standalones.

Someone For Everyone by Tracy Corbett
Date read: September 27th, 2022
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was utterly delightful! I loved everything about it. The characters (Kate and Calvin were so cute, but the secondary characters were also so wonderful); the setting, the plot... everything was fantastic!
I also love that while it was a Christmas book, there was a spooky element with it as well.

Week #3

Read: 10/1/22
Rated: 4 stars
Review: Fun right from the beginning. I can see why Bram went the way he did because Julia knew him very well and to try but Bram trying to get her to realize that he wanted her he definitely needed to find a better way. I did enjoy the bro-mance between Bram and Rath. That was hilarious. An all around hot, fun and swoon worthy too.

Week # 3

F*ck It by C.M. Owens
Date read: 3/10/22
Rating: 4*
Review: This is such a funny, feel good read. I loved the first book (Worth it) so was happy to catch up with those characters as well as be introduced to some great new ones. This book follows Lydia and Simon (who we met in Worth it) and Sicily and Anderson. I was laughing out loud throughout this book so would highly recommend if you needed something light to read. The reason for 4* and not 5 - it just seemed a bit short compared to the first book.

Adorable story!
I love a good celebrity romance. Make him nerdy & awkward, even better 🙃
This was the first book I’ve read with a plus-sized main character, and I didn’t know how much I needed that.
While I don’t have April’s confidence, I could definitely relate to comments she’s received in her life about her weight.
I really appreciated the fact that this was dual pov - being able to not only read about April’s insecurities but Marcus as well, and how each thought & tried to understand the other’s.

Review: What a fun book this was!! Both characters banter between each other was cute but wow when the texting begins I knew that these two didn't know that they were actually texting each other. Then there's the family issues which can be a bit annoying but I have to say Olivia and Colin can definitely voice their opinion and say how they feel about the situations they are in. I really enjoyed Olivias' sassy mouth but the way she loves her nephews too. Colin may seem like a yuppy guy but he just a nice guy that likes nice things and is also happens to like things organized like me, lol, but hey that doesn't mean that some opposite things don't attract. hahaha

Week 5

Below Zero by Ali Hazelwood
Read: 10/19/22

This wasn't as fun as her other books but enjoyable enough. Hannah was a strong headed female. Knows what she wants to do even though it can get her into trouble but Ian is the most level headed character, though he has a way of making you think like he's shy which isn't really the issue, I like him more than Hannah, who seems to be a bit of brat, lol.
