Lindsey Gandhi (lindseygandhi) | 1121 comments Some people are addicted to soda, some to coffee, some to chocolates. I'm seriously addicted to Book of the Month Club (BOTM). I wait on pins and needles at the beginning of the month to see what book options I have to pick from and how many I can get. Because you can NEVER have enough books, right??!! So, this list is my backlog of BOTM books I need to read and get off my shelves so I can get more books. 📚

2. The Hotel Nantucket - 1/28
✔️3. The Last Party - 7/13
✔️4. The House Across the Lake - 11/8
✔️5. The Circus Train - 4/8
✔️6. Girl, Forgotten - 10/10
✔️7. The It Girl - 5/9
✔️8. The Lies I Tell - 8/10
✔️9. Someday, Maybe - 9/3
10. All the Dangerous Things - 3/6
✔️11. The Magnolia Palace - 6/29
12. You're Invited

Plus 4:
1. Love on the Brain - 2/7
2. Hester
3. A Nearly Normal Family
4. If Only I Could Tell You

Carolien (carolien_s) | 502 comments I have seen so many recommendations for Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow this week, I look forward to your thoughts. I may have to add it to the TBR. Enjoy!

The first book is a popular pick this year. I will see what everyone thinks of it before adding it. I'm still waffling on it.

I also keep saying I will read a Riley Sager and I just haven't gotten around to it. I need to get it together.

Good luck with all of your choices and happy reading

Lea (leaspot) | 3458 comments Lindsey, it's official. Your post is the most dangerous ever. I'm backing away from this before I join a book of the month club and need to move out of my house after losing all of my space to my books. :-)

But, I can't wait to see what you think about these! And what books you get next year in your club.

You know, really, what is just one more book every month...

:-) :-) :-)

Thanks Carolien! So, with BOTM, once you've gotten a ton of books from them you get one of the Book of the Year finalists for free. I honestly wasn't planning on getting Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, but soo many of my friends on goodreads who typically like the same books I do actually loved this book. This isn't normally a book I sould pick up, but sometimes those end up being the best ones. It will be my first read in January so I'll let you know how it turns out. 😊

Girlfriend, you need to add a Riley Sager book stat!! They are right up your alley, I think. I think so many people have Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow on their lists that you can get a good read from reviews on if you might like it or not. Do I need to start stalking you to add a Riley Sager book??????????????

Excellent! I was going to open a new thread under the Buddy Reads section, but I see that the group appears to be reading it in the regular book discussions. Maybe we can discuss with everyone else in the thread there! The more the merrier! :-)

Lindsey Gandhi (lindseygandhi) | 1121 comments Finished my 1st book - Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin . 3 stars and a great buddy read!!

I am in between a 3 and 4 star with this book. I'm not a gamer so I wasn't initially drawn to this book. But after so many people reviewed it saying you don't need to be a gamer to enjoy this book I had to find out what the rave was all about.

I did like this book. The first part of the book I loved. The relationship between Sadie and Sam was really intriguing. I was completely drawn in (even though I didn't know half of the gaming stuff). In the second part there were a few chapters that drew out the gaming jargon a little more than I cared for. Having said that, it's part of the story build. What really frustrated me was Sadie's character. I don't want to spoil anything with my review, but I just did not like her or her actions.

Having said that, it's still a good book. I was pleasantly surprised.

Lindsey Gandhi (lindseygandhi) | 1121 comments Finished my 2nd book - The Hotel Nantucket The Hotel Nantucket by Elin Hilderbrand . 4 stars

3.5 stars that I'm rounding up to 4. It did take me a minute to get into this book. Not because the writing was bad, it's great actually - the ghost really threw me off... But in true Elin Hildebrand style, she wraps it all up and everything makes sense. Great beach read. One of these days I must visit Nantucket!

OK, I had to see what all the hype was around Ali Hazelwood. And I'm telling you it's all true. This book was funny, steamy, quirky and I think I might have learned something about neuroscience! I started reading this book and simply couldn't put it down. I love a book that grabs your interest so quickly and holds it all the way to the end. I'll definitely read anther one of her books.
