Lindsey G's BOTM Obsession Reading Challenge 2023 - COMPLETED!!

The first book is a popular pick this year. I will see what everyone thinks of it before adding it. I'm still waffling on it.
I also keep saying I will read a Riley Sager and I just haven't gotten around to it. I need to get it together.
Good luck with all of your choices and happy reading

But, I can't wait to see what you think about these! And what books you get next year in your club.
You know, really, what is just one more book every month...
:-) :-) :-)
While I have read other books by Ruth Ware and Karin Slaughter, I haven't read any of your selections. Good luck with your 2023 challenge.

Thank you Ioana. I love hearing, "You're right!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 But on a serious note, never enough books. Books are my happy place!

I'm super excited to read it. I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks Carolien! So, with BOTM, once you've gotten a ton of books from them you get one of the Book of the Year finalists for free. I honestly wasn't planning on getting Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, but soo many of my friends on goodreads who typically like the same books I do actually loved this book. This isn't normally a book I sould pick up, but sometimes those end up being the best ones. It will be my first read in January so I'll let you know how it turns out. 😊

Girlfriend, you need to add a Riley Sager book stat!! They are right up your alley, I think. I think so many people have Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow on their lists that you can get a good read from reviews on if you might like it or not. Do I need to start stalking you to add a Riley Sager book??????????????

Lea, come to the dark side!!!! You know you need this - you need a book of the month club. Here is the bright side - do you even realize how many more buddy reads you can do with me and Alissa?? Lol 🤣 And who really needs a bed to sleep in when you can have more bookcases?? Hehe!

Thanks Bill!!! I've really enjoyed other books by them so I'm hoping those pan out as well. 😊

Thanks Jackie! I'm hoping it turns out to be a good list to read. 😊

Can't wait to hear how you like it. That may have to be my second read. Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow is going to be my first. 😊

Lalalala! (*sticks fingers in ears*)
If I can get Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow in early January, I will buddy read that one with you for sure. :-)

JOIN USSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS for January!! lol

No need to stalk!! I added him to my Around the USA list. LOL
I think I might grab a few at the bookstore. They are always going for cheap.

Done. I am adding that to my January list. I won't get it until the end of January, unless I get it for the holidays or the library line speeds up, but as of right now, I should be able to get it a week or so before the month ends!

Yyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeessssss!!! We will wait for you to get it. The more the better! Now, when are you joining Book of the Mo th Club with us????!!!!!!????

:-) :-) :-) So much fun! Holding off on the BOTM Club for now, but no doubt you both will wear me down by posting your multiple lists of fabulous books you're getting!

Glad I'm not the only one around here with that obsession!!! I've heard good things about The Hotel Nantucket. A bunch of us are buddy reading Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow in January if you'd like to join us.

I'm ready whenever y'all are. I'm almost done with the book I'm buddy reading with Alissa. So I can start this one next if thst works with Alissa.

Alissa was thinking similarly to you and suggested maybe next week then? I'm good with that. Or whatever works...

Next week is perfect!!

Excellent! I was going to open a new thread under the Buddy Reads section, but I see that the group appears to be reading it in the regular book discussions. Maybe we can discuss with everyone else in the thread there! The more the merrier! :-)

Yeah, I checked the Buddy Reads, but I suppose that would be redundant. Great! See you all there!

That's great, Denise! It's always nice when all of us are discussing the book. I do hope we all like it! :-)

Yeaaaa!!!! This is going to be a great buddy read!!

Hotel Nantucket is my next read! Excited to read it. 😊

I am in between a 3 and 4 star with this book. I'm not a gamer so I wasn't initially drawn to this book. But after so many people reviewed it saying you don't need to be a gamer to enjoy this book I had to find out what the rave was all about.
I did like this book. The first part of the book I loved. The relationship between Sadie and Sam was really intriguing. I was completely drawn in (even though I didn't know half of the gaming stuff). In the second part there were a few chapters that drew out the gaming jargon a little more than I cared for. Having said that, it's part of the story build. What really frustrated me was Sadie's character. I don't want to spoil anything with my review, but I just did not like her or her actions.
Having said that, it's still a good book. I was pleasantly surprised.

3.5 stars that I'm rounding up to 4. It did take me a minute to get into this book. Not because the writing was bad, it's great actually - the ghost really threw me off... But in true Elin Hildebrand style, she wraps it all up and everything makes sense. Great beach read. One of these days I must visit Nantucket!

I felt the same way, the ghost was really weird lol
but I loved the "twist" of who the blogger was!
I love Elin

I did not see that twist coming!! 🤣

OK, I had to see what all the hype was around Ali Hazelwood. And I'm telling you it's all true. This book was funny, steamy, quirky and I think I might have learned something about neuroscience! I started reading this book and simply couldn't put it down. I love a book that grabs your interest so quickly and holds it all the way to the end. I'll definitely read anther one of her books.

Wow!! This girl can write a book!! I have whiplash from going back and forth on who took Mason!! What a great read!
And an awesome buddy read with Alissa!

What an incredibly beautiful and heart warming story. I'm very impressed this is the author's debut novel. I really enjoyed this book. Definitely recommend!

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did Lillie. 😊

I'm a big Ruth Ware fan. This was another good one. It starts off a tad slow but then quickly picks up steam. As a reader I absolutely love it when I'm totally surprised at the end, which I was.
