I know we have to pick on for GR to run and I will probably aim high simply because the NetGalley books get away from me, but I AM going to try and just chill more. Watch more TV and catch up on shows [Disney + and Marvel anyone?]. We will see how well that works. LOLChallenges for 2023

**REVIEW** Uh..no. I don't abide with cheating in my own life and certainly won't in what I am reading, especially when it is deemed "okay" since the person who is cheating is doing it "to explore their sexuality". Uh no. No. No. I hate that I have a DNF so early in the reading year, but I just cannot abide with cheating cheaters who cheat and those that are complicit with them in the way they try and make that it is all okay. NOT COOL.

I have this book for NetGalley and I *KNEW* I'd want an audiobook for it and was hoping there would be a NG audiobook [alas, no]. So when none showed up, I went looking on OverDrive [as I didn't want to use an audible credit for a book I am not 100% sure I will even like] and found it [this was on 1.11] and also found out it was a TWELVE WEEK WAIT. Sigh. SO... I put it on hold, changed my WHOLE list and moved on. Woke up this morning to find it waiting for me to download. Ummm...did I sleep for TWELVE WEEKS [and if I did, why am I still SO tired?]?? LOL
So here I am, trying to squeeze it in. Good times.

Christmas is always busier for people than they remember; bad for them [reading-wise], GREAT for me. ;-)
Some of my *MOST FAVORITE* pet peeves came into play this week...good times. 1. When a book comes out on one date and the audiobook comes out on not only a different date, but in a completely different MONTH. Ugh. That bit of info has made me have to change my list A G A I N.
Yes, I see that list making might be rather silly at this point.
2. Audible is running a challenge this month [but on WEIRD dates] and of course I didn't have anything planned to make the 5 days of 20min, so here I am, adding THREE short stories to my reading because $5 is $5 especially when you have a bunch of $1.99 audiobooks on Audible.
Sigh.

** I started this on audio and ended up read reading it when I realized it was the narration that was making me NOT love this book [they changed several of the narrators, including the one for Jordan and it was so disconcerting and off-putting].
