Generic and X are two that I've seen, having posted about authors being changed to those in the past. Books moved to Generic seem to have their titles changed to bizarre non-book listings as well (the one I encountered in the past did, and I see at least one other right at the top of the author page as well).

I initially wanted to work on the "unknown author" issue, and when I first checked there were about a million titles, but now it is nearing five million...By the way, if it says °ÚëjÕI±Õ in the title, it means magazine so you can mark them as invalid. Same for those with "ÔºÅ" which means "(month of the year) Issue" (eg. 5ÔºŠ= May Issue etc.), these are all magazines.

Yes, I am aware, and I've already checked all the "author" names mentioned in this thread and there was no literary magazine under their name.
If you do a keyword search with "°ÚëjÕI±Õ," at the moment there are 67652 hits, and the vast majority of which are NOT literary magazine...

It seem to me like an error on the importing stuff from Amazon, found another one Adrxmexna this had a fairly recent published german edition of a comic on it. Also the number of the one I posted above Kiligry is going up. Main problem is that real ISBN are used and stuffed with wrong data. Can we somehow report this to Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ staff to check on this?
Seems totally broken import to me, for example this book An erster Stelle bin ich Mensch!: Deinen Wert und Dein pers?nliches Gl¨¹ck definierst nur Du selbst is existing twice now, and the import bot even left a librarian comment that both ISBN are taken and wrote the ISBN in the ASIN field.

Yes, the problem is that they are imported badly. But the bot is also overwriting existing editions:

Is there like a goodreads staff member that can be informed about this? Or a report form for this kind of bots? Because honestly it does not make sense to correct if we are against bots who are adding Author as a valid entry.
I think I found the right thread, over in Questions > Amazon DESTROYED the author's database there is already a discussion going on. Judging from what I read there after a librarian edited something the bots shall not change it back.
