But I have some perimeters, sorry - I’m working on putting together a basket for a MS charity luncheon and I’m looking for some input from readers that I trust. I’d prefer to have books that were written by WOMEN and published IN 2023. I’m not going to discriminate and say only biological women, but I’d prefer no male authors on the cover. It’s just a theme.

All genres are welcome.

These are all/mostly YA books but:
- one of us is back by Karen M McManus
- the stolen heir by Holly Black
- stars and smoke by Marie Lu
- divine rivals by Rebecca Ross
were all written by women and published in 2023

My favorites so far have been The Shattered Realm of Ardor Benn and Esrahaddon, both parts of series, and Tress of the Emerald Sea. All written by men but Tress was published this year.

Honestly, I’m interested in whatever’s suggested - not just because of what I asked but I’ll take suggestions for MYSELF always!
