Patrizia � It is possible to borrow ebooks. There are library services such as Libby and if you have Kindle Unlimited, that works the same as a library in that you borrow books instead of purchasing them. Some devices also allow you to borrow books from friends (I know Nook has a lending feature with some books). I would also count a book read on something like Project Gutenberg as borrowing.
